- Der Królewskie Wzgórze (vor 1945 Królewska Góra, deutsch Königshöhe; heute auch Ślimak (Schnecke), Sobótka) ist eine 99,2 Meter hohe Erhebung in Danzig in Polen. Er liegt auf dem Gebiet des Stadtbezirks Wrzeszcz Górny (Langfuhr) und wurde nach König Friedrich Wilhelm III. von Preußen (1770–1840) benannt. Vom Berg hat man den schönsten Panoramablick auf Danzig, der ehemalige Aussichtspunkt an der Spitze wurde 1945 schwer beschädigt und ist heute verwahrlost. Der Aufstieg auf den Berg wurde gegen Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts befestigt, er stand in Verbindung zum Jäschkentaler Park. Rotbuchen formten bis 1945 den Schriftzug „Danzig“. Eine Schlittenabfahrt bestand bis in die 1970er Jahre. An seinem Nordhang liegt der ehemalige Jüdische Friedhof von Langfuhr, der 1938 verkauft wurde. Er liegt an der Romualda Traugutta-Straße, ist ein heute ein öffentlich zugänglicher Park und kein geschütztes Kulturdenkmal. 1925 baute die Gemeinnützige Danziger Heimstätten-Baugenossenschaft Daheim eine Siedlung mit 40 Ein- und Vierfamilenhäusern. 2006 wurde auf 6 Hektar Fläche die Siedlung Królewskie Wzgórze mit 21 Gebäuden für 680 Familien errichtet. - The Królewskie Wzgórze ('Royal hill'), known before 1945 as Królewska Góra in Polish and Königshöhe in German and now also known as Ślimak (Slug) and Sobótka (bonfire), is a 99.2-metre-high (325 ft) hill in Gdańsk in Poland. It is located in the suburb of Wrzeszcz and was originally named after Frederick William III of Prussia (1770-1840). There is a clear view over Gdańsk from the hill. The former lookout tower on the summit was very badly damaged in 1945 and is now in ruins. The top of the hill was fortified around the middle of the 19th century; it was linked with Jäschkental Park. Until 1945, red beech trees formed the letters of the word 'Danzig'. There was a toboggan-run on the site until the 1970s. On the north slope, there is the former Jewish Cemetery of Wrzeszcz, which was sold in 1938. It is located on Romualda Traugatta Street and is now a public park and not a recognised heritage site. In 1925, the 'Danzig Charitable House-building Co-operative Homes" association built a neighbourhood of forty houses on the hill, some intended for one and some for four families. In 2006, six hectares were used to build the new neighbourhood of Królewskie Wzgórze, consisting of 21 buildings intended to house a total of 680 families. (en)
- Królewskie Wzgórze – wzniesienie położone w woj. pomorskim na obszarze miasta Gdańska, w obrębie dzielnicy Wrzeszcz Górny. Obecnie według danych zamieszczonych na „Geoportalu” wysokość wzniesienia wynosi 99,2 m n.p.m., zaś przedwojenne mapy podają wysokość 98,8 m n.p.m. Niemiecka nazwa Königshöhe została nadana na cześć króla pruskiego Fryderyka Wilhelma III. Polska mapa wojskowa z okresu międzywojennego podaje polski egzonim Królewska Góra. Obecnie również w różnych publikacjach można spotkać przypisane temu wzniesieniu inne formy nazewnicze, jak „Ślimak”, „Sobótka” czy Jaśkowa Góra. Na południowo-wschodnim stoku przez około 200 lat funkcjonował cmentarz żydowski, do którego przed 1945 r. od wschodu przylegała kawiarnia Königshöhe z tarasem widokowym (zachowały się jej ruiny). Na północny wschód od „Królewskiego Wzgórza”, w odległości ok. 400 m znajduje się skrzyżowanie ul. Traugutta i ul. Do Studzienki, zaś na południowy zachód w odległości ok. 200 m przebiega ul. Na Wzgórzu.
