As a reporting unit within University Academic Affairs, the Office of Teaching Evaluation and Assessment Research (OTEAR) supports teaching evaluation, assessment and program review. OTEAR also engages in research to enhance evidence-based decision making across the university. Our work is driven by collaborations with partners across the institution, best practices around assessment, and continuous improvement.

Learning analytics can enhance the student experience by evaluating, diagnosing, and providing support structures to help students achieve their learning goals. Learning analytics aim to ensure students become reflective, self-motivated, life-long learners.
Microcredentials
Microcredentials document achievements beyond traditional transcripts. OTEAR offers badges to faculty and staff to promote Teaching Evaluation and Classroom Inclusivity.
