I was so absorbed! The art and prose are so lovely and I'm super impressed by how real the characters and world feel despite only seeing a small slice of it!

Wow, the art is just AMAZING! Can't believe you managed to create such a detailed world in under 1000 words. I love everything that was said, but also somehow loved everything that went unsaid.

GRRRRR I LIVE FOR PINING.. .yes yearn MORE!!! aaaah im so in love with the art style and the colour palette !! i had to sit and stare when shavil first appeared because wooowww character design (he's so pretty.. . . ooogh details) .. . . wooow bg music... bg art...(felt straight out of a storybook!!) and then he started TALKING.... ok brain rot over.

on a more serious note, everything was so well done !! i got so into the dynamic between the mc and shavil + despite how short it was, it was so easy to immerse yourself in the world !! i really enjoyed replaying to reread (magic!! necromancy!!! tell me more!!!) and try out different choices :0 would love to see where this story goes if you ever decide to expand on it !!

"Necromancer who dies to better understand the art" is such an awesome character concept.  This was a really beautiful read!  Absolutely adored the triple combo of art + music + UI and how they build an almost magical atmosphere in this work.  You guys did an awesome job!!!!

OMG, yes! +1 to more stories and lores of Shavil!! QAQ I enjoyed the experience a lot. I loved the art so much!! Very beautifully eerie background and beautiful Shavil!! His small blush and his final sentences are just so, so good >///<

OOOOOHHHH I NEED TO KNOW MORE!!!! SO MUCH MORE!!

I really got into the story, and I was impressed by how fast it managed to explain, somehow, how necromancy works in this world, to give us a glimpse of the dynamic between MC and Shavil (and how complicated it is considering the striking difference between the two endings), and the stakes of it all! The art too was absolutely gorgeous, both the BG and the SPRITE HOLY MOLLY!! Finally, I have to say, the voice acting was amazing!!

it's been a couple of days since i played this and i'm STILL thinking about this entry AUGGHH. everything about it stood out sm to me from the beautiful art to the premise, and for all of it to be done within the limitations of o2a2 UGGGHHHHHGHGHGH. this will probably be one of my top VNs i played this year and definitely looking forward to future works!! <3

If you want to add more life to a scene like this in the future, I recommend trying out Ren'Py's SnowBlossom particle effect. It's easy to use and modify and works great for fireflies, flying embers, rain and what have you...

EYYYY I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! 

The sprite is absolutely GORGEOUS and this background has been living rent-free in my mind since I first played it. Like it's moody and gorgeous and REALLY nails the creepy magical graveyard vibes. 

I also have a soft spot for silly quasi-evil-but-not-really warlocks with a penchant for reducing, reusing and reanimating 😂 The 'browsing the catalogue' line had me chuckling to myself so hard.

Also the logo and the textbox are just so wispy and perfect, the vibes for all of this are just immaculate. Loved it, attempted every choice and it was so cool to get so much branching in such a short game. Kudos, you did phenomenal!

(Edit: As for the pixelation on web, there's a file called "progressive-download.txt) where you can add a line to pre-load the images so there's no wonkiness while playing. Same for voice lines to ensure audio cues are on point, but depending on the size of those it might be a stretch.)

I loved this game so much! The art was gorgeous and premise of the story was so enthralling!

I was amazed as soon as I opened the game because I'm such a huge sucker for forests, greenery and glowing elements! 
I really loved how even in such a small amount of words you hinted so well at the overarching lore in the universe and established the scene. 
There wasn't a point in time where I was confused or lost despite the word count! I was immediately drawn in, included and felt the atmosphere of the game and story. 

Love love love Shavil too! The design for them absolutely popped off.

CRIPTICCC THIS IS SO POLISHED AND WELL-DONE WAAA!! The background and art are so so stunning and sets the story’s tone really well! I loved the banter/exchange between them, and the world-building has me intrigued! I’d love to see more of them or anything set in this universe really lol. Amazingly well done! :DD

BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS OVER THE VOICE ACTING, MUSIC, ART AND WRITING WOWIE!!! God I love the vibe of this game so much, the death themes and aesthetics are so exquisite to me. The tension felt so good, and the background art and character look so good I want to eat the art style. Incredible job!!
