The db25 pinout drawing would serve better if labeled 'front view' or 'rear view', and both a male and female drawing if provided would avoid the common confusion of number direction. And the overall orientation is less than desirable, connectors are typically viewed horizontally and from the rear by people who need to know and use the pinout information. Also, the pin function names should be marked where appropriate with the NOT overline as is usual with all pinout diagrams. RJ Sheehan
