日本語: 紙本著色/一面 平安時代後期・12世紀 縦21.8cm 横47.4cm 五島美術館蔵。『源氏物語』第38帖「鈴虫」の一番目の場面。柏木との不義に悩み出家した女三宮が、前庭を眺め、夫の光源氏が放った鈴虫の音を聴いている。現存図中、絵の具の剥落が最も激しい画面。下描きの墨線や文字(「たゝみ」「にわ」「すすむし」等)が見える。
English: Color by paper book / one side, late Heian period, 12th century, length 21.8 cm, width 47.4 cm, Gotoh Museum collection. The first scene of "The Tale of Genji" 38th book "Suzumushi". Onna Sannomiya, who was worried about the unrighteousness of Kashiwagi, looks at the front yard and listens to the sound of the bell worm emitted by her husband, Hikaru Genji. The screen with the most paint peeling off in the existing drawings. You can see the draft ink lines and characters ("Taemi", "Niwa", "Susumushi", etc.). |
