Description Two U.S. Navy Mcdonnell Douglas F/A-18A Hornet (BuNo 163094, 163117) from Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-87 "Golden Warriors" about to refuel from a Grumman A-6E Intruder during a sortie in the 1991 Gulf War. VFA-87 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 8 (CVW-8) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) for a deployment to the Indian Ocean from 28 December 1990 to 28 June 1991.
