Description
English: If a foreign body penetrates the skin, phagocytes in the damaged tissue are the first to react. So-called macrophages of type M1 release inflammatory messenger substances. Among other things, prostaglandins. These hormones trigger a pain stimulus.
Deutsch: Dringt ein Fremdkörper in die Haut ein, reagieren Fresszellen im beschädigten Gewebe als erstes. Sogenannte Makrophagen vom Typ M1 schütten entzündungsfördernde Botenstoffe aus. Unter anderem Prostaglandine. Diese Hormone lösen einen Schmerzreiz aus.
