Files in Category:Images affected by the September 2008 image loss bug

Since Commons:Deletion requests/File:Sweden and Norway union arms.jpg was successful, I am nominating all remaining images in this category for deletion (except File:Varianto car.jpg).

These images were lost due to a software bug in September 2008. There is advice on the category page not to delete the files in case the images are found, but I think it is safe to say that if they haven't been recovered in 7 years, they will never be found again.

None of the images have any external source from which they can be reuploaded. In addition, these images are confusing to users who find a "ghost" file when browsing a category.

A number of the images are still in use on mainly Asian-language wikis - but since these images haven't been displaying correctly for the last 7 years, I don't think that is a valid argument to keep these "files".
