English: The Farallon Islands, or Farallones (from the Spanish farallón meaning "pillar" or "sea cliff") — a group of islands and sea stacks in the Pacific Ocean, Northern California.

They lie off the coasts of San Francisco 30 miles (48 km) outside the Golden Gate, and of Marin County 20 miles (32 km) south of Point Reyes.
The islands are a National Wildlife Refuge, surrounded by the Gulf of the Farallones National Marine Sanctuary.
