La Repubblica di San Marino è un piccolo Stato (61,5 km², 30.002 abitanti, capitale Città di San Marino) dell’Europa meridionale. L'aggettivo attribuito alle persone originarie di San Marino è sammarinese. È un’enclave nell'Italia, compresa tra l'Emilia-Romagna a nord e a sud-ovest (provincia di Rimini) e le Marche a sud (provincia di Pesaro e Urbino).
The Republic of San Marino is the third smallest nation in Europe (after Monaco and Vatican City). Located in southern Europe, it is an enclave surrounded by ► Italy, and is one of the European microstates. San Marino is the oldest constitutional republic in the world still in existence today.
