This North American acquisition was finalized earlier this week and allows us to bring enhanced value, expertise, and even better service to customers needing engineered products. The Lake Zurich, Illinois, facility supplies its established customer base with bushings, bearings, washers, and other industrial components made from copper alloys and stainless steels. Driven by digitization and sustainability megatrends, Wieland expects strong growth potential for shell & tube heat exchangers, as well as electronics cooling equipment. It's official: we'll be net zero by 2045! The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated our long-term decarbonization target in July, which means our Scope 1, 2, and 3 reductions will contribute to achieving the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Climate Agreement. 🌱 Our short-term target, a 46.2% reduction in emissions by 2030 (compared to FY 2018/19), was already validated in 2022. We are on track to meet this bold target. The SBTi has also confirmed our long-term reduction objective of -90%. We're proud of this achievement and are committed to continuing to protect the climate. 💚
