A series that aims to capture, catalog and celebrate the beauty of Chicago’s public art.

The mural is one of two that Dennis made that can be seen from the L. The other is visible to CTA Blue Line riders.
“Woven Together” is a seemingly shape-shifting piece that accentuates the 19th-century viaduct’s architecture while illuminating the walkway for pedestrians.

Artist Ashley Kennedy livened up a drab wall under DuSable Lake Shore Drive with a painting of a piping plover, but the city removed it. She’s trying again, this time in consultation with city officials.
