The 2024 Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products PDA - Parenteral Drug Association conference brought together key voices from the cell therapy ecosystem. Tigen's Ursula Busse shared our view of the roadmap to faster and broader access to breakthrough autologous T cell therapies like CAR T and TILs. Digitalization, automatization, data integration and decentralization are major drivers for the required transformation. The regulators seem all-in while the industry still debates, based on legacy vs progressive arguments. And again, no one can do it alone - we need to consequently work in cross-functional and cross-organizational setups for progress.
