Yesterday saw the SEF.Growth Event with Innosuisse take place in Bern. The topic on the table was the internationalisation of start-ups. David Eberle, founder and CEO of Typewise, was invited as the keynote speaker. Today, Typewise offers an AI-based solution that makes customer care much more efficient. Maria Anselmi (Innosuisse) and Felicitas Gartmann (SGE) were invited as experts. I came away with two key insights: David Eberle's keynote was all about focus. He told the founders in attendance to focus on one product, one region, one sales channel and one KPI. Maria Anselmi and Felicitas Gartmann both said that start-ups shouldn't rush into committing to a particular export market. They said in particular that the US isn't always the right market, and that trade fairs are a good way of testing a market without spending a fortune. You can quickly find out whether a product is well received, what the competitive situation is like at a fair. You can find a more detailed report with more insights and recommendations on the SEF.Growth website: https://lnkd.in/ggz6ZwW2 SEF.Growth Innosuisse Switzerland Global Enterprise Typewise (YC S22)
