This achievement showcases the dedicated leadership of the Nestlé Professional team in driving impactful initiatives that empower the next generation. YOCUTA, a Creating Shared Value (CSV) initiative led by Nestlé Professional, aims to inspire and equip aspiring 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 on their journey to a successful culinary career. Last October 18th, thirty-nine talented culinary students completed the program, gaining essential skills through four sessions covering topics like: 🔸Personal Branding, 🔸Nutrition, 🔸Health and Wellness, 🔸Careers in Culinary, 🔸Food Trends, 🔸and Food Sustainability. In honor of 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we recently partnered with the Association of Professional Chefs, Lagos Chapter, and the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to deliver a unique and impactful experience to pupils in Agbara community schools under the Nestlé Healthy Kids initiative. This celebration went beyond fun activities, focusing on key lessons that will inspire these young minds towards a lifelong journey of healthy living. In collaboration with SINGAPORE CHEFS' ASSOCIATION, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of International Chefs Day at the Nestlé Professional Customer Engagement Centre (CEC) on 19 October with a local and global community of chefs. It was a rare gathering of the world’s most esteemed chefs; with Thomas Gugler (President of Worldchefs) and Vanessa Jaurique-Marquis, CEC AAC (Chairperson of the Worldchefs International Chefs Day Committee), as well as several of the Worldchefs Board also gracing the occasion. This year’s theme, ‘Growing Great Chefs,’ welcomes young enthusiasts into the wonderful world of cooking, teaching them not only how to prepare delicious dishes but also how to make informed food choices. We are proud to be hosting this event in collaboration with Worldchefs - World Association of Chefs' Societies, SINGAPORE CHEFS' ASSOCIATION and Grobrix in honouring the hard work, dedication and creativity of chefs who continuously push the boundaries of gastronomy.
