This week marks European Fertility Week, an important time to recognise the impact of infertility and the barriers many face in accessing fertility support. Globally, 1 in 6 people are affected by infertility. Despite these high numbers, there are still several challenges which exist when it comes to accessing care - from financial constraints to inadequate support and lack of information. This is the case in Europe, and around the world. For some communities these barriers can be heightened, highlighting the need for inclusive and equitable fertility care to reduce disparities. The newly launched European Coalition for Fertility aims to address these challenges and ensure equitable access, comprehensive sex education, and family planning support for all. Here at Ferring, we share this vision and believe in a future where no one is left behind on their path to parenthood. We were delighted to host more than 250 clinicians from over 40 countries at our second Fertility Exchange Event in Valencia. The two-day meeting, led by a world class steering committee of eight international experts, focused on the latest in science, technology and patient care. Great engagement from the healthcare professionals in attendance led to interesting discussions about taking fertility care to the next level.
