Introducing EF Ultimate Break's Responsible Travel initiative, in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Our tour design principles remain focused on protecting the environment and mitigating travel’s carbon impact where possible; the promotion of animal welfare in tourism; and ensuring our tours support local communities as much as possible. We’re introducing more than a dozen new itineraries across Thailand that include visits to elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai, embarking on a peaceful electric canal boat cruise in Bangkok, exploring the beaches of Phuket, and experiencing a Thai Lantern ceremony in Yi Peng. Ultimate Break tours are not only designed to connect travelers to places, people, and cultures, but to do it in a responsible, respectful way. This happens largely thanks to our incredible team of Tour Directors, but tour design is an equally important part of the puzzle—especially as we seek to deliver more sustainable travel options. Vice President of Market Development, Jeff Demers, and his team of itinerary builders take sustainable tour creation very seriously, staying close with locals on the ground in destinations all over the world to create better guided travel experiences. Jeff just returned from a Brazil, a country that EF Ultimate Break is exploring more and more, to learn how we can consider all elements of our local impact as we bring new tours to market. Hear from Jeff about his focus on responsible tour design, including how we intend to better serve the nearly 7 out of 10 18–35-year-old travelers who said sustainability factored into their travel booking decisions. https://lnkd.in/eEbFdWwY #WeAreEF #sustainability #touroperator #supportlocalbusinesses

Excited to announce that we can cross WYSE Travel Confederation's award for Best Marketing Campaign off our bucket list ✨ It's almost impossible to get college students to pay attention to brand content. So when we had important news to share about our Campus Ambassador program, our only option was to do something that raised eyebrows. How did we get them to care that they could earn bucket list travel for free? Key word: bucket. Yes, like a Home Depot bucket. Scrappy, organic, hilarious, and just wild enough to hold their attention while linking to our product. We bought a bucket, painted it our brand color with a QR code on the back, strapped it to our Social Producer, and off she went to the college campuses of Boston. Huge thank you to the WYSE Travel Confederation for this honor!
