Modern peptide synthesis equipment has significantly enhanced the throughput and efficiency of producing simple short peptides. The power of Biosynth's epitope mapping in diagnostics, research, and vaccine discovery has been uncovered. In three recent publications, at the forefront of research, our epitope mapping was critical to the studies' discoveries and future progression. Our pioneering technology uncovered the structure of a novel Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) biomarker, leading to the development of an ELISA test kit that selectively and reliably detects HCC. https://lnkd.in/esATKSca Biosynth's services were also used to identify promising epitopes for use in an epitope-based vaccine to combat Rhipicephalus microplus, a tick that is a current threat to worldwide livestock. https://lnkd.in/eK3A76KD In another study, Biosynth's epitope mapping was used to discover that a monoclonal antibody-based assay detecting oxytocin in human saliva had greater specificity than one featuring a polyclonal antibody.
