Event reconstruction performance of the ALICE High Level Trigger for p + p collisions / for the ALICE collaboration
The ALICE High Level Trigger comprises a large computing cluster, dedicated interfaces and software applications. It allows on-line event reconstruction of the full data stream of the ALICE experiment at up to 25 GByte/s. [...]

ALICE HLT high speed tracking on GPU / for the ALICE Collaboration
The on-line event reconstruction in ALICE is performed by the High Level Trigger, which should process up to 2000 events per second in proton-proton collisions and up to 300 central events per second in heavy-ion collisions, corresponding to an inp ut data stream of 30 GB/s. In order to fulfill the time requirements, a fast on-line tracker has been developed. [...]

The ALICE High-Level Trigger processes data online, to either select interesting (sub-) events, or to compress data efficiently by modeling techniques. Focusing on the main data source, the Time Projection Chamber, the architecure of the system and the current state of the tracking and compression methods are outlined..

Upgrade of the ALICE Experiment: Letter of Intent / ALICE Collaboration
The long term goal of the ALICE experiment is to provide a precise characterization of the high-density, high-temperature phase of strongly interacting matter. To achieve this goal, high-statistics precision measurement are required. [...]

Technical Design Report for the Upgrade of the ALICE Inner Tracking System / ALICE Collaboration
ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) is preparing a major upgrade of its experimental apparatus, planned for installation in the second long LHC shutdown (LS2) in the years 2018-2019. These plans are presented in the ALICE Upgrade Letter of Intent submitted to the LHCC in September 2012. [...]

Multiplicity dependence of two-particle azimuthal correlations in pp collisions at the LHC / ALICE Collaboration
We present the measurements of particle pair yields per trigger particle obtained from di-hadron azimuthal correlations in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=0.9, 2.76, and 7 TeV recorded with the ALICE detector. The yields are studied as a function of the charged particle multiplicity. [...]

Coherent J/$\Psi$ photoproduction in ultra-peripheral Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ =2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE collaboration has made the first measurement at the LHC of J/$\Psi$ photoproduction in ultra-peripheral Pb-Pb-collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV. The J/$\Psi$ is identified via its dimuon decay in the forward rapidity region with the muon spectrometer for events where the hadronic activity is required to be minimal. [...]
