A measurement of $\Lambda$ polarization in inclusive production by $\Sigma^-$ of 340-GeV/c in C and Cu targets / Adamovich, M I (LPI, Moscow (main)) ; Alexandrov, Yu A (LPI, Moscow (main)) ; Baranov, S P (LPI, Moscow (main)) ; Barberis, D (Genoa U. ; INFN, Genoa) ; Beck, M (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; ́erat, C B (Grenoble, CEN) ; Beusch, W (CERN) ; Boss, M (Heidelberg U.) ; Brons, S (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Brückner, W (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) et al. /WA89
We have measured the polarization of $\Lambda$ hyperons produced inclusively by a $\Sigma^-$ beam of 340 GeV/c momentum in nuclear targets. From a sample of 9.5 millions of identified $\Lambda$ decays, polarizations were determined in the range $x_F \gt 0.1$ and $p_t\leq 1.6$ GeV/c . [...]

Search for the pentaquark candidate $\Theta^+$(1540) in the hyperon beam experiment WA89 / WA89 Collaboration
We report on a high-statistics search for the \t1540 resonance in $\Sigma^-$-nucleus collisions at 340 \gevc1 . No evidence for this resonance was found in our data sample which contains 13 millions $K^0_s \to \pi^+\pi^- $ decays above background. [...]

Observation of a resonance in the K$_s$p decay channel at a mass of 1765 MeV/c$^2$ / WA89 Collaboration
We report on the observation of a K$_s$p resonance signal at a mass of 1765$\pm$5 MeV/c$^2$, with intrinsic width $\Gamma = 108\pm 22$ MeV/c$^2$, produced inclusively in $\Sigma^-$-nucleus interactions at 340 GeV/c in the hyperon beam experiment WA89 at CERN. The signal was observed in the kinematic region $x_F>0.7$, in this region its production cross section rises approximately linearly with $(1-x_F)$, reaching $BR(X\to K_S p)\cdot d\sigma /dx_F = (5.2\pm 2.3) \mu b $ per nucleon at $x_F=0.8$. Measurement of the $\Omega_{c}^{0}$ lifetime / WA89 Collaboration
We present the measurement of the lifetime of the Omega_c we have performed using three independent data samples from two different decay modes. Using a Sigma- beam of 340 GeV/c we have obtained clean signals for the Omega_c decaying into Xi- K- pi+ pi+ and Omega- pi+ pi- pi+, avoiding topological cuts normally used in charm analysis. [...]

Measurement of the polarization of $\Lambda^{0}$, $\overline{\Lambda}^{0}$, $\Sigma^{+}$ and $\Xi^{-}$ produced in a $\Sigma^{-}$ beam of 330 GeV/c / WA89 Collaboration
The polarization of Lambda0, AntiLambda0, Sigma+ and Xi- inclusively produced in Sigma- induced interactions at 330 GeV has been measured in the experiment WA89 at CERN. This is the first measurement of polarization of baryons produced by a hyperon beam. [...]

Longitudinal double spin asymmetries in single hadron quasi-real photoproduction at high $p_T$ / COMPASS Collaboration
We measured the longitudinal double spin asymmetries $A_{LL}$ for single hadron muo-production off protons and deuterons at photon virtuality $Q^2$ < 1(GeV/$\it c$)$^2$ for transverse hadron momenta $p_T$ in the range 0.7 GeV/$\it c$ to 4 GeV/$\it c$ . They were determined using COMPASS data taken with a polarised muon beam of 160 GeV/$\it c$ or 200 GeV/$\it c$ impinging on polarised $\mathrm{{}^6LiD}$ or $\mathrm{NH_3}$ targets. [...]
