Probing the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking with Higgs boson pair-production at ATLAS / Khoo, Teng Jian (Humboldt University of Berlin (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
In the Standard Model, the ground state of the Higgs field is not found at zero but instead corresponds to one of the degenerate solutions minimising the Higgs potential. In turn, this spontaneous electroweak symmetry breaking provides a mechanism for the mass generation of nearly all fundamental particles. [...]

Probing the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking with Higgs boson pairs in ATLAS / Burger, Angela Maria (Université Clermont Auvergne (FR)) /ATLAS Collaboration

Properties of the Higgs Boson Discovered at the Large Hadron Collider / Murray, William (Warwick U. ; Rutherford) ; Sharma, Vivek (UC, San Diego)
In their search for the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson, the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations discovered a narrow bosonic particle with a mass of approximately 125 GeV during the first Large Hadron Collider run. In this article, we discuss the search methodologies that led to this discovery as well as the precise measurements of the mass of this boson, constraints on its intrinsic width, its production rate, its coupling to several SM particles, and tests of its spin-parity quantum numbers. [...]

Models of electroweak symmetry breaking / Pomarol, Alex (Barcelona, Autonoma U.)
This chapter present models of electroweak symmetry breaking arising from strongly interacting sectors, including both Higgsless models and mechanisms involving a composite Higgs. These scenarios have also been investigated in the framework of five-dimensional warped models that, according to the AdS/CFT correspondence, have a four-dimensional holographic interpretation in terms of strongly coupled field theories. [...]

Minimal Fundamental Partial Compositeness / Cacciapaglia, Giacomo (Lyon, IPN) ; Gertov, Helene (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins) ; Sannino, Francesco (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins ; U. Southern Denmark, Odense, DIAS ; CERN) ; Thomsen, Anders Eller (Southern Denmark U., CP3-Origins)
Building upon the fundamental partial compositeness framework we provide consistent and complete composite extensions of the standard model. These are used to determine the effective operators emerging at the electroweak scale in terms of the standard model fields upon consistently integrating out the heavy composite dynamics. [...]

Search for heavy neutral resonances in vector boson fusion in pp collisions at sqrt(s)=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider
This note presents a search for new heavy neutral resonances (R) produced through vector boson fusion process $qq \rightarrow Rqq \rightarrow \ell^+ \nu \ell^- \bar \nu qq$ ($\ell=e, \mu$) using 3.2 fb$^{−1}$ of data at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.
