/ Moindjie, S (IM2NP, Marseille) ; Munteanu, D (IM2NP, Marseille) ; Autran, J L (IM2NP, Marseille ; Rennes U.) ; Dentan, M (CEA Cadarache) ; Moreau, P (CEA Cadarache) ; Pellissier, F P (CEA Cadarache) ; Santraine, B (CEA Cadarache) ; Bucalossi, J (CEA Cadarache) ; Malherbe, V ; Thery, T et al.
We have performed real-time soft error rate (RT-SER) measurements on bulk 65-nm static random access memories (SRAMs) during deuterium-deuterium (D-D) plasma operation at W-tungsten–Environment in Steady-state Tokamak (WEST). The present measurement campaign was characterized by the production of several tens of long pulse discharges (~60 s) and by a total neutron fluence (at the level of the circuits under test) up to ~$10^9$ n$\cdot$cm$^2$ , improving the error statistics by a factor of more than 6 with respect to the first measurements obtained in 2020. We validated a method for predicting the Soft Error Rate (SER) in the WEST tokamak operated with deuterium plasmas, and we applied it to predict the SER in the ITER tokamak operated with deuterium-tritium plasmas..

HL-LHC IT STRING: Status and Perspectives
/ Bajko, M (CERN) ; Baglin, V (CERN) ; Ballarino, A (CERN) ; Bednarek, M J (CERN) ; Bertolasi, S (CERN) ; Bertone, C (CERN) ; Blanchard, S (CERN) ; Bozzini, D (CERN) ; Coulot, E (CERN) ; Coupat, C (CERN) et al.
The HL-LHC IT STRING, an integrated test stand for the major components of the HL-LHC Inner Triplet (IT) zone, is in its construction phase in a surface building at CERN. The main motivation is to study and validate the collective behavior of the different systems: magnets, circuit protection, cryogenics for magnets and superconducting link, magnet powering, vacuum, alignment, and interconnections between magnets and superconducting link. A Translating-Coil Magnetometer for the Magnetic Measurements of the HL-LHC High-Order Corrector Magnets at Room Temperature
/ Pentella, Mariano (CERN) ; Dalane, Eivind (CERN) ; De Matteis, Ernesto (LASA, Segrate) ; Gautheron, Emma L (CERN) ; Mariotto, Samuele (LASA, Segrate) ; Petrone, Carlo (CERN) ; Prin, Herve (CERN) ; Prioli, Marco (LASA, Segrate) ; Russenschuck, Stephan (CERN) ; Statera, Marco (LASA, Segrate) et al.
This article describes the design and development of a translating-coil magnetometer for the room-temperature magnetic measurements of the superferric, high-order corrector magnets for the high-luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN (HL-LHC). The measurement system consists of a set of induction coils, tangentially positioned on a measurement head. [...]

Combined Testing And Validation Strategy For The New LHC Blm Processing Module
/ Schramm, V (CERN) ; Saccani, M (CERN) ; Viganò, W (CERN) ; Bertsche, B (Stuttgart U.)
A comprehensive strategy to test a new digital acquisition board has been implemented by the Beam Instrumentation Group of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) as part of a wider methodology for the design, production, test, and operation of high dependability electronic systems. This includes test benches for component and functional testing during production, as well as for validation and burn-in upon reception. [...]

Computing challenges in the certification of ATLAS Tile Calorimeter front-end electronics during maintenance periods
/ Solans, C ; Carrio, F ; Kim, H Y ; Moreno, P ; Reed, R ; Sandrock, C ; Ruan, X ; Shalyugin, A ; Schettino, V ; Souza, J et al.
After two years of operation of the LHC, the ATLAS Tile Calorimeter is undergoing the consolidation process of its front-end electronics. The first layer of certification of the repairs is performed in the experimental area with a portable test-bench which is capable of controlling and reading out all the inputs and outputs of one front-end module through dedicated cables.
