Data analysis of the Coulomb excitation experiment of the exotic $^{206}$Hg nucleus, recently performed at CERN’s HIE-ISOLDE facility, needs to account for the contribution to target excitation due to the strongly-present beam contaminant $^{130}$Xe. In this paper, the contamination subtraction procedure is presented..

$^{208}$Po populated through EC/β$^{+}$ decay / Brunet, M (Surrey U.) ; Berry, T A (Surrey U.) ; Podolyák, Zs (Surrey U.) ; Carroll, R J (Surrey U.) ; Lica, R (CERN ; Bucharest, IFIN-HH) ; Sotty, Ch (Bucharest, IFIN-HH ; Leuven U.) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England) ; Borge, M J G (CERN) ; Cubiss, J G (CERN ; York U., England) ; Fraile, L M (Madrid U.) et al.
The structure of $^{208}$Po resulting from the EC/β + decay of $^{208}$At was studied at CERN’s ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS). The high statistics afforded by the high yield of $^{208}$At and the high efficiency HPGe clusters at the IDS allowed for greater insight into lower intensity transitions and thus significant expansion of the $^{208}$Po level scheme. [...]

Prospects for New Physics searches with ${{\Lambda } ^0_{\mathrm {b}}} \!\rightarrow {\Lambda } (1520) {{\ell ^+} {\ell ^-}} $ decays / Amhis, Yasmine (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Descotes-Genon, Sébastien (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Marin Benito, Carla (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Novoa-Brunet, Martín (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Schune, Marie-Hélène (IJCLab, Orsay)
We present the prospects of an angular analysis of the $\Lambda_b \to \Lambda(1520)\ell^+\ell^-$ decay. Using the expected yield in the current dataset collected at the LHCb experiment, as well as the foreseen ones after the LHCb upgrades, sensitivity studies are presented to determine the experimental precision on angular observables related to

A new $B$-flavour anomaly in $B_{d,s}\to K^{*0}\bar{K}^{*0}$: anatomy and interpretation / Algueró, Marcel (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona ; Barcelona, Autonoma U.) ; Crivellin, Andreas (CERN ; Zurich U. ; PSI, Villigen) ; Descotes-Genon, Sébastien (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Matias, Joaquim (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona ; Barcelona, Autonoma U.) ; Novoa-Brunet, Martín (IJCLab, Orsay)
In the context of the recently measured non-leptonic decays $B_{d}\to K^{*0}\bar{K}^{*0}$ and $B_{s}\to K^{*0}\bar{K}^{*0}$ we analyse the anatomy of the $L_{VV}$ observable that compares the longitudinal components of $B_s \to VV$ and $B_d \to VV$ decays. This observable is cleaner than the longitudinal polarisation fraction as it is afflicted only at subleading order in a $1/m_b$ expansion by the theoretical uncertainties arising in the transverse components entering the polarisation fraction. Quadrupole deformation of $^{130}$Xe measured in a Coulomb-excitation experiment / Morrison, L (Surrey U.) ; Hadyńska-Klȩk, K (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab ; Surrey U.) ; Podolyák, Zs (Surrey U.) ; Doherty, D T (Surrey U.) ; Gaffney, L P (Liverpool U. ; CERN) ; Kaya, L (Cologne U.) ; Próchniak, L (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab) ; Samorajczyk-Pyśk, J (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab) ; Srebrny, J (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab) ; Berry, T (Surrey U.) et al.
Low-lying states in the isotope $^{130}$Xe were populated in a Coulomb-excitation experiment performed at CERN's HIE-ISOLDE facility. The magnitudes and relative signs of seven $E2$ matrix elements and one $M1$ matrix element coupling five low-lying states in $^{130}$Xe were determined using the semiclassical coupled-channel Coulomb-excitation least-squares search code gosia. Competition between Allowed and First-Forbidden $β$ Decay: The Case of $^{208}$Hg$→^{208}$Tl / Carroll, R J (Surrey U.) ; Podolyák, Zs (Surrey U. ; Darmstadt, GSI) ; Berry, T (Surrey U.) ; Grawe, H (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Alexander, T (Surrey U.) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAEA, Ibaraki) ; Ansari, S (Cologne U.) ; Borge, M J G (CERN) ; Brunet, M (Surrey U.) ; Creswell, J R (Liverpool U.) et al.
The $β$ decay of $^{208}$Hg into the one-proton hole, one neutron-particle $^{208}_{81}$Tl$_{127}$ nucleus was investigated at CERN-ISOLDE. Shell-model calculations describe well the level scheme deduced, validating the proton-neutron interactions used, with implications for the whole of the N>126, Z<82 quadrant of neutron-rich nuclei. Octupole states in $^{207}$Tl studied through $β$ decay / Berry, T A (Surrey U.) ; Podolyák, Zs (Surrey U.) ; Carroll, R J (Surrey U.) ; Lică, R (CERN ; Bucharest, IFIN-HH) ; Brown, B A (Michigan State U.) ; Grawe, H (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Sotty, Ch (Bucharest, IFIN-HH ; Leuven U.) ; Timofeyuk, N K (Surrey U.) ; Alexander, T (Surrey U.) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England) et al.
The $β$ decay of $^{207}$Hg into the single-proton-hole nucleus $^{207}$Tl has been studied through $γ$-ray spectroscopy at the ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS) with the aim of identifying states resulting from coupling of the $πs^{−1}_{1/2}, πd^{−1}_{3/2},$ and $πh^{−1}_{11/2}$ shell model orbitals to the collective octupole vibration. Twenty-two states were observed lying between 2.6 and 4.0 MeV, eleven of which were observed for the first time, and 78 new transitions were placed. [...]
