Due to its non-relativistic nature, heavy quarkonium constituted by heavy quark-anti-quark pairs (Q ¯ Q = b ¯ b or c¯ c) is an ideal object to investigate bothperturbative and non-pertative aspects of QCD. The non-relativistic QCDfactorization formalism [1] built on the rigorous effective field theory [2]provides a powerful tool to systematically calculate heavy-quarkonium productionand decay. [...]

We calculate the QCD corrections to the cross section of e+e–-->tb-bar H– and its charge-conjugate counterpart within the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model. This process is particularly important if mt<mH + mb and sqrt(s)<2mH, so that t-->bH+ and e+e–-->H+H– are not allowed kinematically. [...]

Charmonium Production at High Energy in the $k_T$-Factorization Approach / Kniehl, Bernd A ; Saleev, V A ; Vasin, D V
We study charmonium production at high-energy colliders (Tevatron, HERA, and LEP2) in the framework of the k_T-factorization approach and the factorization formalism of non-relativistic quantum chromodynamics at leading order in the strong-coupling constant alpha_s and the relative velocity v. The transverse-momentum distributions of direct and prompt J/psi-meson production measured at the Fermilab Tevatron are fitted to obtain the non-perturbative long-distance matrix elements for different choices of unintegrated gluon distribution functions in the proton.
