Beam tests of ATLAS SCT silicon strip detector modules / Campabadal, F ; Fleta, C ; Key, M ; Lozano, M ; Martínez, C ; Pellegrini, G ; Rafí, J M ; Ullán, M ; Johansen, L ; Pommeresche, B et al.
The design and technology of the silicon strip detector modules for the Semiconductor Tracker (SCT) of the ATLAS experiment have been finalised in the last several years. Integral to this process has been the measurement and verification of the tracking performance of the different module types in test beams at the CERN SPS and the KEK PS. [...]

Evolution of silicon microstrip detector currents during proton irradiation at the CERN PS / Harper, R S ; Buttar, C M ; Allport, P P ; Andricek, L ; Carter, J R ; Casse, G L ; Dawson, I ; Ferrère, D ; Grigson, C ; Morgan, D et al.
Prototype ATLAS silicon microstrip detectors have been irradiated to the dose predicted for 10 years of LHC operation with 24 GeV protons at the CERN PS whilst cooled to the ATLAS design operating temperature. The detector currents were monitored during irradiation, which allows the predictions of bulk radiation damage parameterizations to be tested. [...]

Radiation hardness of oxygenated microstrip detectors read out with LHC speed electronics / Allport, P P ; Booth, P S L ; Bowcock, T J V ; Casse, G L ; Greenall, A ; Martí i García, S ; Jackson, J N ; Jones, T J ; Reilly, M ; Smith, A N et al.
Full-size and miniature LHC detectors fabricated on 4 and 6 inch wafers have been processed using oxygenated and non-oxygenated substrates. After irradiation to 3*10/sup 14/ p/cm/sup 2/ and short- term annealing, these detectors have been studied in terms of their charge collection as a function of depletion voltage with LHC-speed analogue electronics. Full size silicon microstrip detectors have been prototyped for the LHC and fabricated on both oxygenated and non-oxygenated substrate material. The detectors were irradiated with protons to 3*10/sup 14/ p cm/sup -2/ and their signals compared as a function of bias voltage after short-term and long-term annealing. [...]
