Cosmic ray $e^±$ at high energy / Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst. ; CERN) ; Reinert, Annika (U. Bonn, Phys. Inst., BCTP)
There is a commonly expressed opinion in the literature, that cosmic-ray (CR) e+ come from a primary source, which could be dark matter or pulsars. In these proceedings we review some evidence to the contrary: namely, that e+ come from secondary production due to CR nuclei scattering on interstellar matter. [...]

Comments on the mass sheet degeneracy in cosmography analyses / Teodori, Luca (Weizmann Inst.) ; Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst.) ; Castorina, Emanuele (Milan U.) ; Simonović, Marko (CERN) ; Soreq, Yotam (Technion)
We make a number of comments regarding modeling degeneracies in strong lensing measurements of the Hubble parameter $H_0$. The first point concerns the impact of weak lensing associated with different segments of the line of sight. [...]

Examination of coalescence as the origin of nuclei in hadronic collisions  / Bellini, Francesca (CERN) ; Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst. ; CERN) ; Kalweit, Alexander Phillip (CERN) ; Puccio, Maximiliano (CERN)
The origin of weakly-bound nuclear clusters in hadronic collisions is a key question to be addressed by heavy-ion collision (HIC) experiments. The measured yields of clusters are approximately consistent with expectations from phenomenological statistical hadronisation models (SHMs), but a theoretical understanding of the dynamics of cluster formation prior to kinetic freeze out is lacking. [...]

Could Quasar Lensing Time Delays Hint to a Core Component in Halos, Instead of $H_0$ Tension? / Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst. ; CERN) ; Castorina, Emanuele (CERN) ; Simonović, Marko (CERN)
The time delay measured between the images of gravitationally lensed quasars probes a combination of the angular diameter distance to the source-lens system and the mass density profile of the lens. Observational campaigns to measure such systems have reported a determination of the Hubble parameter H0 that shows significant tension with independent determination based on the cosmic microwave background (CMB) and large scale structure (LSS). Is there a supernova bound on axions? / Bar, Nitsan (Weizmann Inst.) ; Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst. ; CERN) ; D'Amico, Guido (Stanford U., ITP)
We present a critical assessment of the SN1987A supernova cooling bound on axions and other light particles. Core-collapse simulations used in the literature to substantiate the bound omitted from the calculation the envelope exterior to the proto-neutron star (PNS). [...]

Looking for ultralight dark matter near supermassive black holes / Bar, Nitsan (Weizmann Inst.) ; Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst. ; CERN) ; Lacroix, Thomas (Madrid, IFT) ; Panci, Paolo (CERN ; Gran Sasso)
Measurements of the dynamical environment of supermassive black holes (SMBHs) are becoming abundant and precise. We use such measurements to look for ultralight dark matter (ULDM), which is predicted to form dense cores ("solitons") in the centre of galactic halos. [...]

Nuclear coalescence from correlation functions / Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst. ; CERN) ; Takimoto, Masahiro (Weizmann Inst.)
We derive a simple formula relating the cross section for light cluster production (defined via a coalescence factor) to the two-proton correlation function measured in heavy-ion collisions. The formula generalises earlier coalescence-correlation relations found by Scheibl & Heinz and by Mrowczynski for Gaussian source models. [...]

Ultra-light dark matter in disk galaxies / Bar, Nitsan (Weizmann Inst.) ; Blum, Kfir (Weizmann Inst. ; CERN) ; Eby, Joshua (Weizmann Inst.) ; Sato, Ryosuke (DESY)
Analytic arguments and numerical simulations show that bosonic ultra-light dark matter (ULDM) would form cored density distributions (`solitons') at the center of galaxies. ULDM solitons offer a promising way to exclude or detect ULDM by looking for a distinctive feature in the central region of galactic rotation curves. [...]

Neutrino flavour as a test of the explosion mechanism of core-collapse supernovae / Bar, Nitsan (Weizmann Inst.) ; Blum, Kfir (CERN ; Weizmann Inst.) ; D'Amico, Guido (Stanford U., ITP ; CERN)
We study the ratio of neutrino-proton elastic scattering to inverse beta decay event counts, measurable in a scintillation detector like JUNO, as a key observable for identifying the explosion mechanism of a galactic core-collapse supernova. If the supernova is not powered by the core but rather, e.g., by collapse-induced thermonuclear explosion, then a prolonged period of accretion-dominated neutrino luminosity is predicted. [...]
