Motivated by the success of the flavour physics programme carried out over the last decade at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), we characterize in detail the physics potential of its High-Luminosity and High-Energy upgrades in this domain of physics. We document the extraordinary breadth of the HL/HE-LHC programme enabled by a putative Upgrade II of the dedicated flavour physics experiment LHCb and the evolution of the established flavour physics role of the ATLAS and CMS general purpose experiments. The Belle II Physics Book / Belle-II Collaboration
We present the physics program of the Belle II experiment, located on the intensity frontier SuperKEKB e+e- collider. Belle II collected its first collisions in 2018, and is expected to operate for the next decade. [...]

Lepton-flavour violating $B$ decays in generic $Z'$ models / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN) ; Hofer, Lars (Barcelona, Autonoma U.) ; Matias, Joaquim (Barcelona, Autonoma U.) ; Nierste, Ulrich (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Pokorski, Stefan (Warsaw U.) ; Rosiek, Janusz (Warsaw U.)
LHCb has reported deviations from the SM expectations in $B\to K^* \mu^+\mu^-$ angular observables, in $B_s\to\phi\mu^+\mu^-$ and in ratio $R(K)=Br[B\to K \mu^+\mu^-]/Br[B\to K e^+e^-]$. For all three decays, a heavy neutral gauge boson mediating $b\to s\mu^+\mu^-$ transitions is a prime candidate for an explanation. [...]

Impact of a Higgs boson at a mass of 126 GeV on the standard model with three and four fermion generations / Eberhardt, Otto (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Herbert, Geoffrey (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Lacker, Heiko (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Lenz, Alexander (CERN ; Durham U.) ; Menzel, Andreas (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Nierste, Ulrich (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Wiebusch, Martin (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP)
We perform a comprehensive statistical analysis of the standard model (SM) with three and four generations using the latest Higgs search results from LHC and Tevatron, the electroweak precision observables (EWPOs) measured at LEP and SLD and the latest determinations of M_W, m_t and alpha_s. For the three-generation case we analyse the tensions in the electroweak fit by removing individual observables from the fit and comparing their predicted values with the measured ones. [...]

Status of the fourth fermion generation before ICHEP2012: Higgs data and electroweak precision observables / Eberhardt, Otto (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Lenz, Alexander (CERN) ; Menzel, Andreas (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Nierste, Ulrich (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Wiebusch, Martin (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP)
We perform a global fit of the parameters of the Standard Model with a sequential fourth generation (SM4) to LHC and Tevatron Higgs data and electroweak precision data. We find that the minimal chi-square value of the SM4 is larger than that of the Standard Model with three generations (SM3) by 8 units. [...]

Joint analysis of Higgs decays and electroweak precision observables in the Standard Model with a sequential fourth generation / Eberhardt, Otto (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Herbert, Geoffrey (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Lacker, Heiko (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Lenz, Alexander (CERN) ; Menzel, Andreas (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Nierste, Ulrich (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Wiebusch, Martin (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP)
We analyse the impact of LHC and Tevatron Higgs data on the viability of the Standard Model with a sequential fourth generation (SM4), assuming Dirac neutrinos and a Higgs mass of 125 GeV. To this end we perform a combined fit to the signal cross sections of pp -> H -> gamma gamma,ZZ*,WW* at the LHC, to p pbar -> VH -> V b bbar (V = W, Z) at the Tevatron and to the electroweak precision observables. Constraints on New Physics in $B-\overline B$ mixing in the light of recent LHCb data / Lenz, A. (CERN) ; Nierste, U. (KIT, Karlsruhe, TTP) ; Charles, J. (Marseille, CPT) ; Descotes-Genon, S. (Orsay, LPT) ; Lacker, H. (Humboldt U., Berlin) ; Monteil, S. (Clermont-Ferrand U.) ; Niess, V. (Clermont-Ferrand U.) ; T'Jampens, S. (Annecy, LAPP)
We perform model-independent statistical analyses of three scenarios accommodating New Physics (NP) in Delta F=2 flavour-changing neutral current amplitudes. In a scenario in which NP in B_d-B_d-bar and B_s-B_s-bar is uncorrelated, we find the parameter point representing the Standard-Model disfavoured by 2.4 standard deviations. [...]

The supersymmetric Higgs sector and $B-\overline{B}$ mixing for large tan $\beta$ / Gorbahn, Martin (TUM-IAS, Munich) ; Jager, Sebastian (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Nierste, Ulrich (Karlsruhe U., TTP) ; Trine, Stephanie (Karlsruhe U., TTP)
We match the Higgs sector of the most general flavour breaking and CP violating minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) onto a generic two-Higgs-doublet model, paying special attention to the definition of tan beta in the effective theory. In particular no tan beta-enhanced loop corrections appear in the relation to tan beta defined in the DRbar scheme in the MSSM. [...]

B, D and K decays : report of Working Group 2 [on Flavour in the Era of the LHC] / Buchalla, G. (LMU Munich (main)) ; Komatsubara, T.K. (Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Muheim, F. With the advent of the LHC, we will be able to probe New Physics (NP) up to energy scales almost one order of magnitude larger than it has been possible with present accelerator facilities. While direct detection of new particles will be the main avenue to establish the presence of NP at the LHC, indirect searches will provide precious complementary information, since most probably it will not be possible to measure the full spectrum of new particles and their couplings through direct production. Book cover SuperB : A High-Luminosity Asymmetric $e^+ e^-$ Super Flavour Factory : Conceptual Design Report / Bona, M.
The physics objectives of SuperB, an asymmetric electron-positron collider with a luminosity above 10^36/cm^2/s are described, together with the conceptual design of a novel low emittance design that achieves this performance with wallplug power comparable to that of the current B Factories, and an [...]
