(Rice U.) ; Gluscevic, Vera (Florida U. ; Princeton U.) ; Grin, Daniel (Haverford Coll.) ; Hlǒzek, Renée (Toronto U., Astron. Dept.) ; Marsh, David J.E. (Inst. Astrophys. The axion is a hypothetical, well-motivated dark-matter particle whose existence would explain the lack of charge-parity violation in the strong interaction. [...]

Measurement of the inclusive $t\bar{t}$ production cross section in the lepton+jets channel in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$= 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector using support vector machines / ATLAS Collaboration
A measurement of the top quark pair-production cross section in the lepton+jets decay channel is presented. It is based on 4.6 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV $pp$ collision data collected during 2011 by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. [...]

Measurement of the top-quark mass using a leptonic invariant mass in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\textrm{TeV}$ with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A measurement of the top-quark mass ($m_t$) in the $t\bar{t}\rightarrow~\textrm{lepton}+\textrm{jets}$ channel is presented, with an experimental technique which exploits semileptonic decays of $b$-hadrons produced in the top-quark decay chain. The distribution of the invariant mass $m_{\ell\mu}$ of the lepton, $\ell$ (with $\ell=e,\mu$), from the $W$-boson decay and the muon, $\mu$, originating from the $b$-hadron decay is reconstructed, and a binned-template profile likelihood fit is performed to extract $m_t$. Search for new phenomena in events with an energetic jet and missing transverse momentum in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Results of a search for new physics in final states with an energetic jet and large missing transverse momentum are reported. The search uses proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb$^{-1}$ at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected in the period 2015-2018 with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Muon reconstruction and identification efficiency in ATLAS using the full Run 2 $pp$ collision data set at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV / ATLAS Collaboration
This article documents the muon reconstruction and identification efficiency obtained by the ATLAS experiment for 139 fb$^{-1}$ of $pp$ collision data at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV collected between 2015 and 2018 during Run 2 of the LHC. The increased instantaneous luminosity delivered by the LHC over this period required a reoptimisation of the criteria for the identification of prompt muons. [...]

CMB-S4: Forecasting Constraints on Primordial Gravitational Waves / CMB-S4 Collaboration
CMB-S4---the next-generation ground-based cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiment---is set to significantly advance the sensitivity of CMB measurements and enhance our understanding of the origin and evolution of the Universe, from the highest energies at the dawn of time through the growth of structure to the present day. Test of the universality of $\tau$ and $\mu$ lepton couplings in $W$-boson decays with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The Standard Model of particle physics encapsulates our current best understanding of physics at the smallest scales. A fundamental axiom of this theory is the universality of the couplings of the different generations of leptons to the electroweak gauge bosons. [...]

Constraining Early Dark Energy with Large-Scale Structure / Ivanov, Mikhail M. (New York U., CCPP ; Moscow, INR) ; McDonough, Evan (MIT, Cambridge, CTP) ; Hill, J. Colin (Columbia U. ; Flatiron Inst., New York) ; Simonović, Marko (CERN) ; Toomey, Michael W. (Brown U.) ; Alexander, Stephon (Brown U.) ; Zaldarriaga, Matias (Princeton, Inst. Advanced Study)
An axion-like field comprising $\sim 10\%$ of the energy density of the universe near matter-radiation equality is a candidate to resolve the Hubble tension; this is the "early dark energy" (EDE) model. However, as shown in Hill et al. [...]

Electroweak Measurements in Electron-Positron Collisions at W-Boson-Pair Energies at LEP / ALEPH Collaboration
Electroweak measurements performed with data taken at the electron-positron collider LEP at CERN from 1995 to 2000 are reported. The combined data set considered in this report corresponds to a total luminosity of about 3~fb$^{-1}$ collected by the four LEP experiments ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL, at centre-of-mass energies ranging from $130~GeV$ to $209~GeV$ [...]
