/ Canete, L. (Jyvaskyla U. ; Surrey U.) ; Giraud, S. (GANIL ; Michigan State U., East Lansing (main)) ; Kankainen, A. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bastin, B. (GANIL) ; Nowacki, F. (Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Ascher, P. Isomers close to the doubly magic nucleus $^{78}$Ni ($Z=28$, $N=50$) provide essential information on the shell evolution and shape coexistence far from stability. The existence of a long-lived isomeric state in $^{76}$Cu has been debated for a long time. [...]

/ Ge, Zhuang (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Reponen, Mikael (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Eronen, Tommi (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Hu, Baishan (TRIUMF ; ORNL, Oak Ridge (main) ; Oak Ridge) ; Kortelainen, Markus (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Kankainen, Anu (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Moore, Iain (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Nesterenko, Dmitrii (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Yuan, Cenxi (SYSU, Guangzhou) ; Beliuskina, Olga (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
High-precision mass measurements of exotic $^{95-97}$Ag isotopes close to the $N = Z$ line have been conducted with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap mass spectrometer, with the silver ions produced using the recently commissioned inductively-heated hot cavity catcher laser ion source at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line facility. The atomic mass of $^{95}$Ag was directly determined for the first time. [...]

Measurements of binding energies and electromagnetic moments of silver isotopes – A complementary benchmark of density functional theory
/ de Groote, R P (Jyvaskyla U. ; Leuven U.) ; Nesterenko, D A (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Kankainen, A (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bissell, M L (Manchester U.) ; Beliuskina, O (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bonnard, J (York U., England ; IP2I, Lyon) ; Campbell, P (Manchester U.) ; Canete, L (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Cheal, B (Liverpool U.) ; Delafosse, C (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
We report on a set of high-precision measurements of nuclear binding and excitation energies, as well as nuclear spins, magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of neutron-rich silver isotopes, 113−123Ag. The measurements were performed using the JYFLTRAP mass spectrometer and the collinear laser spectroscopy beamline at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility. [...]

Isomers close to doubly-magic $^{78}_{28}$Ni$_{50}$ provide essential information on the shell evolution and shape coexistence near the ${Z=28}$ and ${N=50}$ double shell closure. We report the excitation energy measurement of the $1/2^{+}$ isomer in $^{79}_{30}$Zn$_{49}$ through independent high-precision mass measurements with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap and with the ISOLTRAP Multi-Reflection Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer. Nuclear charge radius of $^{26m}$Al and its implication for V$_{ud}$ in the quark-mixing matrix
/ Plattner, P. (CERN ; Innsbruck U. ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Wood, E. (Liverpool U.) ; Ayoubi, L. Al (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Beliuskina, O. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bissell, M.L. Collinear laser spectroscopy was performed on the isomer of the aluminium isotope $^{26m}$Al. The measured isotope shift to $^{27}$Al in the $3s^{2}3p\;^{2}\!P^\circ_{3/2} \rightarrow 3s^{2}4s\;^{2}\!S_{1/2}$ atomic transition enabled the first experimental determination of the nuclear charge radius of $^{26m}$Al, resulting in $R_c$=\qty{3.130±.015}{\femto\meter}. We report the first high-precision mass measurements of the neutron-rich nuclei $^{74,75}$Ni and the clearly identified ground state of $^{76}$Cu, along with a more precise mass-excess value of $^{78}$Cu, performed with the double Penning trap JYFLTRAP at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility. These new results lead to a quantitative estimation of the quenching for the $N=50$ neutron shell gap. [...]

Impact of Nuclear Deformation and Pairing on the Charge Radii of Palladium Isotopes

The impact of nuclear deformation can been seen in the systematics of nuclear charge radii, with radii generally expanding with increasing deformation. In this Letter, we present a detailed analysis of the precise relationship between nuclear quadrupole deformation and the nuclear size. [...]

$\beta$ and $\gamma$-spectroscopy study of $^{119}$Pd and $^{119}$Ag

Neutron-rich $^{119}$Pd nuclei were produced in fission of natural uranium, induced by 25-MeV protons. Fission fragments swiftly extracted with the Ion Guide Isotope Separation On-Line method were mass separated using a dipole magnet and a Penning trap, providing mono-isotopic samples of $^{119}$Pd.
