A Saturable Pulse Transformer Based on Nanocrystalline Magnetic Cores for an Adjustable Nanosecond High-Voltage Generator / Degnon, Mawuena R ; Gusev, Anton I ; de Ferron, Antoine Silvestre ; Pecastaing, Laurent ; Baranov, Aleksandr ; Mielot, Christophe ; Boisne, Sébastien ; Barnes, Michael J (CERN) ; Senaj, Viliam (CERN) ; Kramer, Thomas (CERN) et al.
This article is devoted to saturable pulse transformers (SPTs), combining the functions of a pulse transformer and a magnetic switch. Two nanocrystalline magnetic cores are investigated in the SPT of an inductive energy storage (IES) pulsed power system based on a semiconductor opening switch (SOS). [...]

The SHiP experiment at the proposed CERN SPS Beam Dump Facility / SHiP Collaboration
The Search for Hidden Particles (SHiP) Collaboration has proposed a general-purpose experimental facility operating in beam-dump mode at the CERN SPS accelerator to search for light, feebly interacting particles. The SHiP experiment incorporates two complementary detectors. [...]

Track reconstruction and matching between emulsion and silicon pixel detectors for the SHiP-charm experiment / SHiP Collaboration
In July 2018 an optimization run for the proposed charm cross section measurement for SHiP was performed at the CERN SPS. A heavy, moving target instrumented with nuclear emulsion films followed by a silicon pixel tracker was installed in front of the Goliath magnet at the H4 proton beamline. [...]

Sensitivity of the SHiP experiment to dark photons decaying to a pair of charged particles / SHiP Collaboration
Dark photons are hypothetical massive vector particles that could mix with ordinary photons. The simplest theoretical model is fully characterised by only two parameters: the mass of the dark photon m$_{\gamma^{\mathrm{D}}}$ and its mixing parameter with the photon, $\varepsilon$. [...]

Sensitivity of the SHiP experiment to light dark matter / SHiP Collaboration
Dark matter is a well-established theoretical addition to the Standard Model supported by many observations in modern astrophysics and cosmology. In this context, the existence of weakly interacting massive particles represents an appealing solution to the observed thermal relic in the Universe. [...]

Search for $CP$ violation in $\Xi_c^+\rightarrow pK^-\pi^+$ decays using model-independent techniques / LHCb Collaboration
A first search for $CP$ violation in the Cabibbo-suppressed $\Xi_c^+\rightarrow pK^-\pi^+$ decay is performed using both a binned and an unbinned model-independent technique in the Dalitz plot. The studies are based on a sample of proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0~\rm fb^{-1}$, and collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of $7$ and $8~\rm TeV$. Measurement of the shape of the $ {B}_s^0\to {D}_s^{\ast -}{\mu}^{+}{\nu}_{\mu } $ differential decay rate / LHCb Collaboration
The shape of the $B_s^0\rightarrow D_s^{*-}\mu^+\nu_{\mu}$ differential decay rate is obtained as a function of the hadron recoil using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb detector. The $B_s^0\rightarrow D_s^{*-}\mu^+\nu_{\mu}$ decay is reconstructed through the decays $D_s^{*-}\rightarrow D_s^{-}\gamma$ and $D_s^{-}\rightarrow K^-K^+\pi^-$. [...]

Search for the lepton flavour violating decay $B^+ \rightarrow K^+ \mu^- \tau^+$ using $B_{s2}^{*0}$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
A search is presented for the lepton flavour violating decay $B^+ \rightarrow K^+ \mu^- \tau^+$ using a sample of proton--proton collisions at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, collected with the LHCb detector and corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb${}^{-1}$. The $\tau$ leptons are selected inclusively, primarily via decays with a single charged particle. [...]

Measurement of $C\!P$-averaged observables in the $B^{0}\rightarrow K^{*0}\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ decay / LHCb Collaboration
An angular analysis of the $B^{0}\rightarrow K^{*0}(\to K^{+}\pi^{-})\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ decay is presented using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $4.7{\mbox{fb}^{-1}}$ of $pp$ collision data collected with the LHCb experiment. The full set of $C\!P$-averaged observables are determined in bins of the invariant mass squared of the dimuon system. [...]
