Precise predictions for boosted Higgs production
/ Becker, Kathrin (Freiburg U.) ; Caola, Fabrizio (Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Massironi, Andrea (CERN ; INFN, Milan Bicocca) ; Mistlberger, Bernhard (MIT) ; Monni, Pier Francesco (CERN) ; Chen, Xuan (Zurich U.) ; Frixione, Stefano (INFN, Genoa) ; Gehrmann, Thomas (Zurich U.) ; Glover, Nigel (Durham U., IPPP) ; Hamilton, Keith (University Coll. London) et al.
Inclusive Higgs boson production at large transverse momentum is induced by different production channels. We focus on the leading production through gluon fusion, and perform a consistent combination of the state of the art calculations obtained in the infinite-top-mass effective theory at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) and in the full Standard Model (SM) at next-to-leading order (NLO). Recommended predictions for the boosted-Higgs cross section
/ Becker, Kathrin (Albert Ludwigs Universitaet Freiburg (DE)) ; Caola, Fabrizio (University of Durham (GB)) ; Massironi, Andrea (CERN) ; Mistlberger, Bernhard (Massachusetts Inst. of Technology (US)) ; Monni, Pier (CERN) ; Chen, Xuan (Zurich U.) ; Frixione, Stefano (INFN e Universita Genova (IT)) ; Gehrmann, Thomas Kurt (Universitaet Zuerich (CH)) ; Glover, Nigel (IPPP Durham) ; Hamilton, Keith Murray (University of London (GB)) et al.
In this note we study the inclusive production of a Higgs boson with large transverse momentum. We provide a recommendation for the inclusive cross section based on a combination of state of the art QCD predictions for the gluon-fusion and vector-boson-fusion channels. [...]

Higgs boson cross sections for the high-energy and high-luminosity LHC: cross-section predictions and theoretical uncertainty projections
/ Calderon Tazon, Alicia (Universidad de Cantabria and CSIC (ES)) ; Caola, Fabrizio (University of Durham (GB)) ; Campbell, John (Fermilab (US)) ; Francavilla, Paolo (Universita & INFN Pisa (IT)) ; Marchiori, Giovanni (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (FR)) ; Becker, Kathrin (Albert Ludwigs Universitaet Freiburg (DE)) ; Bertella, Claudia (Chinese Academy of Sciences (CN)) ; Bonvini, Marco (Sapienza Universita e INFN, Roma I (IT)) ; Chen, Xuan (Zuerich University (CH)) ; Frederix, Rikkert (Technische Universität Muenchen (DE)) et al.
This note summarizes the state-of-the-art predictions for the cross sections expected for Higgs boson production in the 27 TeV proton-proton collisions of a high-energy LHC, including a full theoretical uncertainty analysis. It also provides projections for the progress that may be expected on the timescale of the high-luminosity LHC and an assessment of the main limiting factors to further reduction of the remaining theoretical uncertainties..

Production of $t \bar{t} b \bar{b}$ at the LHC at NLO QCD
/ Bredenstein, Axel (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Denner, Ansgar (PSI, Villigen) ; Dittmaier, Stefan (Freiburg U.) ; Pozzorini, Stefano (CERN)
We summarise predictions for top anti-top bottom anti-bottom (tTbB) production at the LHC in next-to-leading order QCD. The precise description of this background process is a prerequisite to observe associated top anti-top Higgs production in the H -> bottom anti-bottom decay channel. [...]

NLO QCD corrections to top anti-top bottom anti-bottom production at the LHC
/ Bredenstein, Axel (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Denner, Ansgar (PSI, Villigen) ; Dittmaier, Stefan (Freiburg U.) ; Pozzorini, Stefano (CERN)
The next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to top anti-top bottom anti-bottom (tTbB) production at the LHC reveal that the scale choice adopted in previous lowest-order simulations underestimates the tTbB cross section by a factor two. We discuss a new dynamical scale that stabilizes the perturbative predictions and describe the impact of the corrections on the shape of distributions. [...]
