Sixteen Medipix2 pixel detector based (MPX) devices were operated at various positions within the ATLAS detector and cavern continuously from early 2008 up to 2013. In addition to photons, each MPX detector is capable to detect charged particles, and neutrons as it is covered with a mask of converter materials dividing its area into regions sensitive to thermal or fast neutrons. Metrology)
Timepix, a pixel detector, was installed in the H4IRRAD irradiation area at CERN to study its response to a mixed radiation field. The measured data were compared to Monte Carlo simulations performed by the FLUKA code. [...]

Induced radioactivity in ATLAS cavern measured by MPX detector network / Campbell, M (CERN) ; Heijne, E (IEAP CTU, Prague ; CERN) ; Leroy, C (Montreal U.) ; Nessi, M (CERN) ; Pospisil, S (IEAP CTU, Prague) ; Solc, J (IEAP CTU, Prague ; Czech Metrology Inst., Brno) ; Suk, M (IEAP CTU, Prague) ; Turecek, D (IEAP CTU, Prague ; CESNET, Praha) ; Vykydal, Z (IEAP CTU, Prague ; Czech Metrology Inst., Brno)
An application of the use of MPX detectors for the measurement of induced radioactivity in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiment environment is presented. The sixteen ATLAS-MPX detectors measured the associated photon ambient dose equivalent rate (H$^*$(10) rate) in ATLAS due to the LHC operation. [...]

The attenuation of the ionizing radiation through a concrete wall between the ATLAS Cavern UX15 and Service Cavern USA15 was measured during LHC collisions in 2012 with two ATLAS-MPX detectors. The detectors were mounted on either side of the wall separating UX15 and USA15. [...]

Magnetic monopole search with the full MoEDAL trapping detector in 13 TeV $pp$ collisions interpreted in photon-fusion and Drell-Yan production / MoEDAL Collaboration
MoEDAL is designed to identify new physics in the form of stable or pseudostable highly ionizing particles produced in high-energy Large Hadron Collider (LHC) collisions. Here we update our previous search for magnetic monopoles in Run 2 using the full trapping detector with almost four times more material and almost twice more integrated luminosity. [...]

Search for magnetic monopoles with the MoEDAL forward trapping detector in 2.11 fb$^{-1}$ of 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at the LHC / MoEDAL Collaboration
We update our previous search for trapped magnetic monopoles in LHC Run 2 using nearly six times more integrated luminosity and including additional models for the interpretation of the data. The MoEDAL forward trapping detector, comprising 222~kg of aluminium samples, was exposed to 2.11~fb$^{-1}$ of 13 TeV proton-proton collisions near the LHCb interaction point and analysed by searching for induced persistent currents after passage through a superconducting magnetometer.
