Measurements of |$V_{cb}$| and form factors and branching ratios of $B^{0} \to D^{*+}l^{-}\nu$ and $B^{0} \to D^{+}l^{-}\nu$ / Rousseau, D ; Sadouki, A ; Talby, M /ALEPH Collaboration
Two samples of exclusive semileptonic decays, 579 +- 30 B0->D*+ l- nu events and 266 +- 24 B0->D+ l- nu events, are selected from approximately 3.9 million hadronic Z decays collected by the ALEPH detector at LEP from 1991 to 1995. The reconstructed differential decay rate d Gamma/d omega of each sample is fitted, yielding a value of the product of the hadronic form factor F(omega=1) at zero recoil of the D(*)+ meson and the CKM matrix element |V_cb|, F_D*+ |V_cb| = (30.6 +- 1.8_stat +- 2.0_syst) 10^-3 and F_D+ |V_cb| = (28.8 +- 6.7_stat +- 6.9_sys) 10^-3. A Measurement of $|Vcb|$ from $\overline B^{0} \to D^{*} + l-\overline{\nu}_l$ / Hayes, O J ; Rousseau, D ; Sadouki, A ; Scott, I J ; Sharma, V ; Talby, M /ALEPH Collaboration
From approximately 3 million hadronic decays of Z bosons recorded with the ALEPH detector at LEP, a sample of 410 +/- 32 B0bar -> D*+ l- nubar candidates is selected, where l- is either an electron or a muon. The differential decay rate dGamma(B0bar -> D*+ l- nubar)/dw from this sample is fitted, yielding a value for the product of the CKM matrix element |Vcb| and the normalisation of the decay form factor at the point of zero recoil of the D*+ meson: F(w=1)|Vcb| = [31.4 +/-2.3(stat.) +/-2.5(syst.)] #users.txt# DistList LAforwarding PSforwarding batch done errors files helpND.html images insert_new.sh instlog log modifying pending pending.bk running stats users.txt users.txt~ waiting 10^(-3). Study of $D^{0}-\overline{D}^{0}$ mixing and $D^{0}$ doubly-Cabibbo-suppressed decays / ALEPH Collaboration
Using a sample of four million hadronic Z events collected in ALEPH from 1991 to 1995, the decays D*+ -> D0pi^+_s, with D0 decaying to K-pi+ or to K+pi-, are studied. The relative branching ratio B(D0 -> K+pi-)/B(D0 -> K-pi+) is measured to be (1.84+-0.59(stat.)+-0.34(syst.))%. [...]

The forward-backward asymmetry for charm quarks at the Z / ALEPH Collaboration
The data set collected with the ALEPH detector from 1991 to 1995 at LEP has been analysed to measure the charm forward-backward asymmetry at the Z. Out of a total of 4.1 million hadronic Z decays, about 36000 high momentum D*+, D+ and D0 decays were reconstructed, of which 80% originate from Z -> ccbar events....
