Searches for new physics with leptons using the ATLAS detector / Koch, Simon Florian (University of Oxford (GB)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many different theories beyond the Standard Model (SM) predict that new physics will manifest itself by decaying into final states involving leptons. Leptoquarks are predicted by many new physics theories to describe the similarities between the lepton and quark sectors of the SM. [...]

Material measurement of an ATLAS ITk pixel module / Koch, Simon Florian (University of Oxford (GB)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Modern pixel detectors are being built to withstand the ever higher collision rates and pile-up of colliders designed to push luminosity and intensity limits. The ITk is a new silicon tracker for the ATLAS experiment designed to increase detector resolution, readout capacity, and radiation hardness, and the five innermost layers will be built of hybrid pixel modules. [...]

Pixel Interlock and DCS in SR1 / Koch, Simon Florian (University of Oxford (GB)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The new Inner Tracker of the ATLAS experiment will be installed during LHC Long Shutdown 3 and will consist of a pixel and strip detector. The Outer Barrel, comprising three central outer pixel layers, will be constructed using a combination of flat sections called longerons and inclined half-rings. [...]

Noise characterization of a 0.25 $\mu$ m CMOS technology for the LHC experiments / Anelli, G ; Faccio, F ; Florian, S ; Jarron, Pierre
After having reviewed the main noise sources in an MOS transistor the paper presents results about the noise performance of a 0.25 mu m CMOS technology which is being extensively used to design radiation tolerant ASICs for the LHC experiments (the Large Hadron Collider at present under construction at CERN). The 1/f and white noise are studied for n- and p-channel devices with five different gate lengths, in weak, moderate and strong inversion and for different drain to source and bulk to source biases.
