Astron. ; SCK-CEN, Mol) ; Fedosseev, V N (CERN) et al.
The structure of low-spin states originating from shape-coexisting configurations in $^{68}_{40}$Ni$_{28}$ was directly probed via the two-neutron transfer reaction $^{66}$Ni$(t,p)^{68}$Ni in inverse kinematics using a radioactive ion beam on a radioactive target. The direct feeding to the first excited 0$^+$ state was measured for center-of-mass angles 4°–16° and amounts to an integral of 4.2(16)% relative to the ground state. [...]

Transfer reactions induced with $^{56}$Ni: shell gaps and np pairing
/ Georgiadou, A (Orsay, IPN ; U. Paris-Sud 11, Dept. Phys., Orsay ; Paris, IN2P3) ; Assié, M (Orsay, IPN ; Paris, IN2P3) ; Blumenfeld, Y ; Crom, B Le ; Guillot, J ; Flavigny, F ; Achouri, L ; Aouadi, M ; Bastin, B ; Benitez, A et al.
The structure of the unstable doubly magic nucleus $^{56}$Ni has been investigated by measuring one-and two-nucleon transfer reactions. The radioactive beam of $^{56}$Ni was produced at GANIL-Caen, France at 30 MeV/u by means of the LISE spectrometer. [...]

Metal-core pad-plane development for ACTAR TPC
/ Giovinazzo, J (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Pibernat, J (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Goigoux, T (CENBG, Gradignan) ; de Oliveira, R (CERN) ; Grinyer, G F (Regina U. ; GANIL) ; Huss, C (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Mauss, B (GANIL) ; Pancin, J (GANIL) ; Pedroza, J L (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Rebii, A (CENBG, Gradignan) et al.
With the recent development of active targets and time projection chambers (ACTAR TPC) as detectors for fundamental nuclear physics experiments, the need arose for charge collection planes with a high density of readout channels. In order to fulfill the mechanical constraints for the ACTAR TPC device, we designed a pad-plane based on a metal-core circuit with an conceptually simple design and routing for signal readout, named FAKIR (in reference to a fakir bed of nails). $^{12}$C+p resonant elastic scattering in the Maya active target
/ Sambi, S (KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. Astron.) ; Raabe, R ; Borge, M J G (CERN) ; Caamano, M ; Damoy, S (GANIL) ; Fernández-Domínguez, B ; Flavigny, F ; Fynbo, H ; Gibelin, J (Caen U.) ; Grinyer, G F (GANIL) et al.
In a proof-of-principle measurement, the Maya active target detector was employed for a$^{12}$C(p, p) resonant elastic scattering experiment in inverse kinematics. The excitation energy region from 0 to 3MeV above the proton breakup threshold in$^{13}$N was investigated in a single measurement. [...]

Single-neutron states in the Z=30 , N=49 isotope 79 Zn have been populated using the 78 Zn(d, p) 79 Zn transfer reaction at REX-ISOLDE, CERN. The experimental setup allowed the combined detection of protons ejected in the reaction, and of γ rays emitted by 79 Zn. [...]

(Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab) et al.
States in the $N=28$ nucleus $^{46}$Ar have been studied by a two-neutron transfer reaction at REX-ISOLDE (CERN). A beam of radioactive $^{44}$ at an energy of 2.16~AMeV and a tritium loaded titanium target were used to populate $^{46}$ by the t($^{44}$,p) two-neutron transfer reaction. [...]

Experimental study of the $^{66}$Ni$(d,p)^{67}$Ni one-neutron transfer reaction

The quasi-SU(3) sequence of the positive parity $νg_{9/2}, d_{5/2}, s_{1/2}$ orbitals above the N=40 shell gap are assumed to induce strong quadrupole collectivity in the neutron-rich Fe (Z=26) and Cr (Z=24) isotopes below the nickel region. In this paper the position and strength of these single-particle orbitals are characterized in the neighborhood of $^{68}$Ni (Z=28,N=40) through the $^{66}$Ni($d,p$)$^{67}$Ni one-neutron transfer reaction at 2.95 MeV/nucleon in inverse kinematics, performed at the REX-ISOLDE facility in CERN. The $νg_{9/2} , d_{5/2}, s_{1/2}$ orbitals are assumed to be responsible for the swift onset of collectivity observed in the region below $^{68}$Ni. Especially the single-particle energies and strengths of these orbitals are of importance. [...]
