The $v^{1/3}_{3}/v^{1/2}_{2}$ ratio in PbAu collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\textrm{NN}}} = $ 17.3 GeV: a hint of a hydrodynamic behavior / CERES NA45 Collaboration
The Fourier harmonics, $v_2$ and $v_3$ of negative pions are measured at center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$= 17.3 GeV around midrapidity by the CERES/NA45 experiment at the CERN SPS in 0--30% central PbAu collisions with a mean centrality of 5.5%. The analysis is performed in two centrality bins as a function of the transverse momentum $\mathrm{p_{\mathrm{T}}}$ from 0.05 GeV/$c$ to more than 2 GeV/$c$. [...]

The upgrade of the ALICE TPC with GEMs and continuous readout / ALICE TPC Collaboration
The upgrade of the ALICE TPC will allow the experiment to cope with the high interaction rates foreseen for the forthcoming Run 3 and Run 4 at the CERN LHC. In this article, we describe the design of new readout chambers and front-end electronics, which are driven by the goals of the experiment. [...]

Jet fragmentation transverse momentum ($j_{\rm T}$) distributions are measured in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (p–Pb) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed with the ALICE tracking detectors and electromagnetic calorimeter using the anti-kT algorithm with resolution parameter $R$ = 0.4 in the pseudorapidity range $|\eta|$ < 0.25. $\Lambda^+_e$ production in $pp$ and in $p$-Pb collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$=5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The production cross section of prompt $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c}$ charmed baryons was measured with the ALICE detector at the LHC at midrapidity in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (p-Pb) collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV. The $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c}$ and $\overline{\Lambda}^{-}_{\rm c}$ baryons were reconstructed in the hadronic decay channels $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c} \rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K}^{-}\pi{+}$ and $\Lambda^{+}_{\rm c} \rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K}^{0}_{\rm S}$ and respective charge conjugates. The prompt production of the charmed baryon $\Lambda_c^+$ and the $\Lambda_c^+$/D$^0$ production ratios were measured at midrapidity with the ALICE detector in pp and p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV. These new measurements show a clear decrease of the Λ+c /D0 ratio with increasing transverse momentum ($p_{T}$) in both collision systems in the range 2 < $p_{T}$ < 12 GeV/$c$, exhibiting similarities with the light-flavour baryon-to-meson ratios p/$\pi$ and $\Lambda$/K$_S$. Jet-associated deuteron production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Deuteron production in high-energy collisions is sensitive to the space-time evolution of the collision system, and is typically described by a coalescence mechanism. For the first time, we present results on jet-associated deuteron production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV, providing an opportunity to test the established picture for deuteron production in events with a hard scattering. The production of $\Upsilon$ mesons in Pb-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5 TeV is measured with the muon spectrometer of ALICE at the LHC. The yields as well as the nuclear modification factors are determined in the forward rapidity region $2.5<y<4.0$, as a function of rapidity, transverse momentum and collision centrality. [...]

Inclusive heavy-flavour production at central and forward rapidity in Xe-Xe collisions at $\sqrt {s_{NN}}$=5.44$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The first measurements of the production of muons and electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in Xe--Xe collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.44 TeV, using the ALICE detector at the LHC, are reported. The measurement of the nuclear modification factor $R_{\rm AA}$ is performed as a function of transverse momentum $\pT$ in several centrality classes at forward rapidity ($2.5 < y <4$) and midrapidity ($\vert y \vert < 0.8$) for muons and electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays, respectively.
