The ALICE experiment: a journey through QCD / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE experiment was proposed in 1993, to study strongly interacting matter at extreme energy densities via a comprehensive investigation of nuclear collisions at the LHC. Its physics programme initially focused on the determination of the properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), a deconfined state of quarks and gluons and was extended along the years, covering a diverse ensemble of observables related to Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), the theory of strong interactions. [...]

Performance of the ALICE Electromagnetic Calorimeter / ALICE Collaboration
The performance of the electromagnetic calorimeter of the ALICE experiment during operation in 2010$-$2018 at the Large Hadron Collider is presented. After a short introduction into the design, readout, and trigger capabilities of the detector, the procedures for data taking, reconstruction, and validation are explained. [...]

Evolution of jet shapes and fragmentation functions in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=200$ GeV with the STAR experiment at RHIC / Mazer, Joel (speaker) (Rutgers University)
The modification of jet substructure in heavy-ion collisions compared to that in the vacuum reference is one of the main features of jet quenching. Such modification has been observed at LHC kinematics with various observables, such as jet fragmentation and jet shapes. [...]

Jet-hadron correlations measured relative to the second order event plane in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) produced in ultra relativistic heavy-ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) can be studied by measuring the modifications of jets formed by hard scattered partons which interact with the medium. We studied these modifications via angular correlations of jets with charged hadrons for jets with momenta 20 < $p_{\rm{T}}^{\rm{jet}}$ < 40 GeV/$c$ as a function of the associated particle momentum. $\phi$ meson production at forward rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=2.76$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
$\phi$ meson measurements provide insight into strangeness production, which is one of the key observables for the hot medium formed in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. ALICE measured $\phi$ production through its decay in muon pairs in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV in the intermediate transverse momentum range $2 < p_{\rm T} < 5$ GeV/$c$ and in the rapidity interval $2.5<y<4$. Neutral pion and $\eta$ meson production at mid-rapidity in Pb–Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=2.76$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Neutral pion and η meson production in the transverse momentum range 1 < $p_{T}$ < 20 GeV/$c$ have been measured at mid-rapidity by the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in central and semi-central Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=2.76$ TeV. These results were obtained using the photon conversion method as well as the PHOS and EMCal detectors. [...]

Jet-hadron correlations relative to the event plane at the LHC with ALICE / Mazer, Joel (Tennessee U.) /ALICE
In ultra relativistic heavy-ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), conditions are met to produce a hot, dense and strongly interacting medium known as the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP). Quarks and gluons from incoming nuclei collide to produce partons at high momenta early in the collisions. [...]

Neutral pion and $\eta$ meson production in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}} = 5.02$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
Neutral pion and $\eta$ meson invariant differential yields were measured in non-single diffractive p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV with the ALICE experiment at the CERN LHC. The analysis combines results from three complementary photon measurements, utilizing the PHOS and EMCal calorimeters and the Photon Conversion Method. [...]

$\Lambda_{\rm c}^+$ production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV and in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The $p_{\rm T}$-differential production cross section of prompt $\Lambda_{\rm c}^+$ charmed baryons was measured with the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV and in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV at midrapidity. The $\Lambda_{\rm c}^+$ and ${\overline{\Lambda}}_{\rm c}^-$ were reconstructed in the hadronic decay modes $\Lambda_{\rm c}^+\rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K^-}\pi^+$, $\Lambda_{\rm c}^+\rightarrow {\rm p}{\rm K_{\rm S}^0}$ and in the semileptonic channel $\Lambda_{\rm c}^+\rightarrow {\rm e^+}\nu_{\rm e}\Lambda$ (and charge conjugates).
