We report on the status of efforts to improve the reinterpretation of searches and measurements at the LHC in terms of models for new physics, in the context of the LHC Reinterpretation Forum. We detail current experimental offerings in direct searches for new particles, measurements, technical implementations and Open Data, and provide a set of recommendations for further improving the presentation of LHC results in order to better enable reinterpretation in the future. Strange hadron production in $pp$ and $p$Pb collisions at ${\sqrt {\smash [b]{s_{_{\mathrm {NN}}}}}} = $ 5.02 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The transverse momentum (${p_{\mathrm{T}}}$) distributions of $\Lambda$, $ \Xi^{-}$, and $\Omega^{-}$ baryons, their antiparticles, and ${\mathrm{K^0_S}}$ mesons are measured in proton-proton (pp) and proton-lead (pPb) collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV over a broad rapidity range. The data, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 40.2 nb$^{-1}$ and 15.6 $\mu$b$^{-1}$ for pp and pPb collisions, respectively, were collected by the CMS experiment. [...]

Azimuthal separation in nearly back-to-back jet topologies in inclusive 2- and 3-jet events in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A measurement for inclusive 2- and 3-jet events of the azimuthal correlation between the two jets with the largest transverse momenta, $\Delta\phi_{12}$ , is presented. The measurement considers events where the two leading jets are nearly collinear ("back-to-back") in the transverse plane and is performed for several ranges of the leading jet transverse momentum. The solutions adopted by the high-energy physics community to foster reproducible research are examples of best practices that could be embraced more widely. This first experience suggests that reproducibility requires going beyond openness..

Measurement of exclusive $\rho(770)^0$ photoproduction in ultraperipheral pPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}} =$ 5.02 TeV / CMS Collaboration
Exclusive $\rho(770)^{0}$ photoproduction is measured for the first time in ultraperipheral pPb collisions at ${\sqrt {\smash [b]{s_{_{\mathrm {NN}}}}}} = $ 5.02 TeV with the CMS detector. The cross section $\sigma (\gamma {\mathrm{p}}\to \rho(770)^{0}{\mathrm{p}})$ is 11.2 $\pm$ 1.4 (stat) $\pm$ 1.0 (syst) $\mu$b at $\langle W_{\gamma{\mathrm{p}}}\rangle = $ 92.6 GeV for photon-proton centre-of-mass energies $W_{\gamma{\mathrm{p}}}$ between 29 and 213 GeV. Measurement of the differential Drell-Yan cross section in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
Measurements of the differential cross section for the Drell-Yan process, based on proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the CMS experiment, are presented. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 2.8 (2.3) fb$^{-1}$ in the dimuon (dielectron) channel. [...]

Search for a standard model-like Higgs boson in the mass range between 70 and 110 GeV in the diphoton final state in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 8 and 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The results of a search for a standard model-like Higgs boson in the mass range between 70 and 110 GeV decaying into two photons are presented. The analysis uses the data set collected with the CMS experiment in proton-proton collisions during the 2012 and 2016 LHC running periods. [...]

Centrality and pseudorapidity dependence of the transverse energy density in pPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=$ 5.02 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The almost hermetic coverage of the CMS detector is used to measure the distribution of transverse energy, $ {E_{\mathrm{T}}} $, over 13.2 units of pseudorapidity, $\eta$, for pPb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of ${\sqrt {\smash [b]{s_{_{\mathrm {NN}}}}}} = $ 5.02 TeV. The huge angular acceptance exploits the fact that the CASTOR calorimeter at $-6.6 < \eta < -5.2$ is effectively present on both sides of the colliding system because of a switch in the proton-going and lead-going beam directions. [...]
