Searching for heavy leptophilic Z′: from lepton colliders to gravitational waves / Dasgupta, Arnab (Pittsburgh U.) ; Dev, P S Bhupal (McDonnell Ctr. Space Sci.) ; Han, Tao (Pittsburgh U.) ; Padhan, Rojalin (Pittsburgh U. ; Bhubaneswar, Inst. Phys. ; HBNI, Mumbai) ; Wang, Si (Pittsburgh U.) ; Xie, Keping (Pittsburgh U. ; Michigan State U.)
We study the phenomenology of leptophilic $Z'$ gauge bosons at the future high-energy $e^+e^-$ and $\mu^+\mu^-$ colliders, as well as at the gravitational wave observatories. The leptophilic $Z'$ model, although well-motivated, remains largely unconstrained from current low-energy and collider searches for $Z'$ masses above ${\cal O}(100~{\rm GeV})$, thus providing a unique opportunity for future lepton colliders. Heavy Higgs bosons in 2HDM at a muon collider / Han, Tao (Pittsburgh U.) ; Li, Shuailong (Arizona U.) ; Su, Shufang (Arizona U.) ; Su, Wei (Adelaide U.) ; Wu, Yongcheng (Carleton U. ; Oklahoma State U.)
We study the discovery potential of the non-Standard Model (SM) heavy Higgs bosons in the Two-Higgs-Doublet Models (2HDMs) at a multi-TeV muon collider and explore the discrimination power among different types of 2HDMs. We find that the pair production of the non-SM Higgs bosons via the universal gauge interactions is the dominant mechanism once above the kinematic threshold. Electroweak couplings of the Higgs boson at a multi-TeV muon collider / Han, Tao (Pittsburgh U.) ; Liu, Da (UC, Davis, QMAP) ; Low, Ian (Northwestern U. ; Argonne) ; Wang, Xing (UC, San Diego)
We estimate the expected precision at a multi-TeV muon collider for measuring the Higgs boson couplings with electroweak gauge bosons, $HVV$ and $HHVV\ (V=W^\pm,Z)$, as well as the trilinear Higgs self-coupling $HHH$. At very high energies both single and double Higgs productions rely on the vector-boson fusion (VBF) topology. [...]

WIMPs at High Energy Muon Colliders / Han, Tao (Pittsburgh U.) ; Liu, Zhen (Maryland U.) ; Wang, Lian-Tao (Chicago U., EFI ; Chicago U., KICP) ; Wang, Xing (UC, San Diego)
The Weakly Interacting Massive Particle (WIMP) paradigm is one of the most compelling scenarios for particle dark matter (DM). We show in this paper that a high energy muon collider can make decisive statements about the WIMP DM, and this should serve as one of its main physics driver cases. [...]

High energy leptonic collisions and electroweak parton distribution functions / Han, Tao (Pittsburgh U.) ; Ma, Yang (Pittsburgh U.) ; Xie, Keping (Pittsburgh U.)
In high-energy leptonic collisions well above the electroweak scale, the collinear splitting mechanism of the electroweak gauge bosons becomes the dominant phenomena via the initial state radiation and the final state showering. We point out that at future high-energy lepton colliders, such as a multi-TeV muon collider, the electroweak parton distribution functions (EW PDFs) should be adopted as the proper description for partonic collisions of the initial states. [...]

Quark and gluon contents of a lepton at high energies / Han, Tao (Pittsburgh U.) ; Ma, Yang (Pittsburgh U.) ; Xie, Keping (Pittsburgh U.)
In high-energy leptonic collisions, such as at a multi-TeV muon collider, the collinear splittings of the electroweak (EW) gauge bosons and leptons are the dominant phenomena, and the scattering processes should thus be formulated in terms of the EW parton distribution functions (EW PDFs). We complete this formalism in the Standard Model to include the QCD sector and evaluate the quark and gluon PDFs inside a lepton at the double-log accuracy. [...]

Precision test of the muon-Higgs coupling at a high-energy muon collider / Han, Tao (Pittsburgh U.) ; Kilian, Wolfgang (Siegen U.) ; Kreher, Nils (Siegen U.) ; Ma, Yang (Pittsburgh U.) ; Reuter, Jürgen (DESY) ; Striegl, Tobias (Siegen U.) ; Xie, Keping (Pittsburgh U.)
We explore the sensitivity of directly testing the muon-Higgs coupling at a high-energy muon collider. This is strongly motivated if there exists new physics that is not aligned with the Standard Model Yukawa interactions which are responsible for the fermion mass generation. [...]
