Fragmentation studies of high energy ions using CR39 nuclear track detectors / Togo, V. (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) ; Balestra, S. ; Cecchini, S. ; Di Ferdinando, D. ; Frutti, M. ; Giacomelli, G. ; Giorgini, M. ; Kumar, A. ; Mandrioli, G. ; Manzoor, S. et al.
We report on the measurements of the total charge changing fragmentation cross sections in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions using Fe, Si and Pb incident ions. Several stacks of CR39 nuclear track detectors with different target combinations were exposed at normal incidence to high energy accelerator beams to integrated densities of about 2000 ions/cm^2. Measurement of the neutrino velocity with the OPERA detector in the CNGS beam / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA neutrino experiment at the underground Gran Sasso Laboratory has measured the velocity of neutrinos from the CERN CNGS beam over a baseline of about 730 km with much higher accuracy than previous studies conducted with accelerator neutrinos. The measurement is based on high-statistics data taken by OPERA in the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. [...]

Search for $\nu_{\mu} \to \nu_{\tau}$ oscillation with the OPERA experiment in the CNGS beam / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA neutrino experiment in the underground Gran Sasso Laboratory (LNGS) was designed to perform the first detection of neutrino oscillations in direct appearance mode in the nu_mu to nu_tau channel, the nu_tau signature being the identification of the tau-lepton created in its charged current interaction. [...]

Momentum measurement by the Multiple Coulomb Scattering method in the OPERA lead emulsion target / OPERA Collaboration
A new method of momentum measurement of charged particles through Multiple Coulomb Scattering (MCS) in the OPERA lead emulsion target is presented. It is based on precise measurements of track angular deviations performed thanks to the very high resolution of nuclear emulsions. [...]

Study of neutrino interactions with the electronic detectors of the OPERA experiment / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA experiment is based on a hybrid technology combining electronic detectors and nuclear emulsions. OPERA collected muon-neutrino interactions during the 2008 and 2009 physics runs of the CNGS neutrino beam, produced at CERN with an energy range of about 5-35 GeV. [...]

Observation of a first $\nu_\tau$ candidate event in the OPERA experiment in the CNGS beam / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA neutrino detector in the underground Gran Sasso Laboratory (LNGS) has been designed to perform the first detection of neutrino oscillations in direct appearance mode through the study of the $\nu_\mu\rightarrow\nu_\tau$ channel. The hybrid apparatus consists of an emulsion/lead target complemented by electronic detectors and it is placed in the high energy long-baseline CERN to LNGS beam (CNGS) 730 km away from the neutrino source. Measurement of the atmospheric muon charge ratio with the OPERA detector / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA detector at the Gran Sasso underground laboratory (LNGS) was used to measure the atmospheric muon charge ratio in the TeV energy region. We analyzed 403069 atmospheric muons corresponding to 113.4 days of livetime during the 2008 CNGS run. [...]
