In this article, we attempt to summarize the 5-year long involvement of PSI through the CHART MagDev program with R&D; on the Canted Cosine Theta (CCT) technology as a candidate for an FCC-hh main dipole magnet. We present the test results of the Canted Dipole 1 (CD1) 1-m-long 10-T Nb$_{3}$Sn demonstrator magnet, as well as a subjective list of ‘pros and cons' of CCT for the FCC-hh that we compiled along the way. An MgB- Superconducting Shield Prototype for the Future Circular Collider Septum Magnet / Barna, Daniel (Wigner RCP, Budapest ; CERN) ; Giunchi, Giovanni (Edison SpA, Milan) ; Novák, Martin (Wigner RCP, Budapest) ; Brunner, Kristof (Wigner RCP, Budapest) ; Német, Aniko (Wigner RCP, Budapest) ; Petrone, Carlo (CERN) ; Atanasov, Miroslav (CERN) ; Bajas, Hugues (CERN) ; Feuvrier, Jerome (CERN)
A passive superconducting shield was previously proposed to realize a high-field (above 3 T) septum magnet for the Future Circular Collider proton–proton ring (FCC-hh). This paper presents the experimental results of a potential shield material, MgB$_2$, at a temperature of 4.2 K. [...]

Power test of the second-generation Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) Nb$_3$Sn damping wiggler short model / Duda, Michal (Cracow, INP ; CERN) ; Mangiarotti, Franco (CERN) ; Bajko, Marta (CERN) ; Bernhard, Axel (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Desbiolles, Vincent (CERN) ; Ferracin, Paolo (CERN) ; Feuvrier, Jerome (CERN) ; Garcia Fajardo, Laura (LBL, Berkeley) ; Lorenzo, Jose (CERN) ; Mazet, Jacky (CERN) et al.
In the frame of the compact linear collider project, a high-field short-period superconducting damping wigglers will be required to reduce the emittance of the electron and positron beams. The use of Nb$_3$Sn as superconducting material is being investigated, as a valid option for its smaller size and increased working margin. [...]
