ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) is a detector dedicated to the studies with heavy ion collisions exploring the physics of strongly interacting nuclear matter and the quark-gluon plasma at the CERN LHC (Large Hadron Collider). After the second long shutdown of the LHC, the ALICE Experiment will be upgraded to make high precision measurements of rare probes at low pT, which cannot be selected with a trigger, and therefore require a very large sample of events recorded on tape. Exclusive $J/\psi$ photoproduction off protons in ultra-peripheral p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
We present the first measurement at the LHC of exclusive J/$\psi$ photoproduction off protons, in ultra-peripheral proton-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV. Events are selected with a dimuon pair produced either in the rapidity interval, in the laboratory frame, $2.5<y<4$ (p-Pb) or $-3.6<y<-2.6$ (Pb--p), and no other particles observed in the ALICE acceptance. Multiparticle azimuthal correlations in p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at the CERN Large Hadron Collider / ALICE Collaboration

Elliptic flow of identified hadrons in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The elliptic flow coefficient ($v_{2}$) of identified particles in Pb--Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{{NN}}} = 2.76$ TeV was measured with the ALICE detector at the LHC. Suppression of $\Upsilon$(1S) at forward rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
We report on the measurement of the inclusive $\Upsilon$(1S) production in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=2.76$ TeV carried out at forward rapidity ($2.5<y<4$) and down to zero transverse momentum using its $\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ decay channel with the ALICE detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Beauty production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 2.76 TeV measured via semi-electronic decays / ALICE Collaboration
The ALICE collaboration at the LHC reports measurement of the inclusive production cross section of electrons from semi-leptonic decays of beauty hadrons with rapidity $|y|<0.8$ and transverse momentum $1<p_{\mathrm{T}}<10$ GeV/$c$, in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = $ 2.76 TeV. Measurement of prompt D-meson production in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV / ALICE Collaboration
The $p_T$-differential production cross sections of the prompt charmed mesons $D^0, D^+, D^{*+}$ and $D_s^+$ and their charge conjugate in the rapidity interval -0.96 < $y_{cms}$ < 0.04 were measured in p-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The nuclear modification factor $R_{pPb}$, quantifying the D-meson yield in p--Pb collisions relative to the yield in pp collisions scaled by the number of binary nucleon-nucleon collisions, is compatible within the 15-20% uncertainties with unity in the transverse momentum interval 1 < $p_T$ < 24 GeV/c.
