Production of Mass-Separated Erbium-169 Towards the First Preclinical in vitro Investigations / Talip, Zeynep (PSI, Villigen) ; Borgna, Francesca (PSI, Villigen) ; Müller, Cristina (PSI, Villigen ; ETH, Zurich (main)) ; Ulrich, Jiri (PSI, Villigen) ; Duchemin, Charlotte (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Ramos, Joao P (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Stora, Thierry (CERN) ; Köster, Ulli (Laue-Langevin Inst.) ; Nedjadi, Youcef (Lausanne U.) ; Gadelshin, Vadim (CERN ; Mainz U., Inst. Phys. ; Urals State U.) et al.
The $\beta^-$-particle-emitting erbium-169 is a potential radionuclide toward therapy of metastasized cancer diseases. It can be produced in nuclear research reactors, irradiating isotopically-enriched $^{168}$Er$_2$O$_3$ [...]

Appl. Radiophys., Lausanne)
$^{175}$Yb is a radionuclide that can be generated by neutron capture on $^{174}$Yb and whose decay properties make it useful for developing therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. As it happens with many of the emerging radionuclides for medical uses in recent years, its nuclear data were determined decades ago and are not thoroughly documented nor accurate enough for metrological purposes. The Emulsion Scanning System of the OPERA experiment / Juget, F (U. Bern, AEC) ; Knusel, J (U. Bern, AEC) /OPERA collaboration
The OPERA experiment has for goal the direct detection of !μ ! !! oscilla- tion, using an hybrid apparatus composed of electronic detectors and nuclear photographic emulsions. A charged particle crossing an emulsion layer ion- izes the medium along its path leaving a latent image which leads, after de- velopment, to a sequence of aligned grains. [...]

A Precision Measurement of Charm Dimuon Production in Neutrino Interactions from the NOMAD Experiment / NOMAD Collaboration
We present our new measurement of the cross-section for charm dimuon production in neutrino-iron interactions based upon the full statistics collected by the NOMAD experiment. After background subtraction we observe 15,344 charm dimuon events, providing the largest sample currently available. [...]

Search for $\nu_\mu \rightarrow \nu_e$ oscillations with the OPERA experiment in the CNGS beam / OPERA collaboration
A first result of the search for \numu $\rightarrow$ \nue oscillations in the OPERA experiment, located at the Gran Sasso Underground Laboratory, is presented. The experiment looked for the appearance of \nue in the CNGS neutrino beam using the data collected in 2008 and 2009. [...]

A Search for Single Photon Events in Neutrino Interactions / NOMAD Collaboration
We present a search for neutrino-induced events containing a single, exclusive photon using data from the NOMAD experiment at the CERN SPS where the average energy of the neutrino flux is $\simeq 25$ GeV. The search is motivated by an excess of electron-like events in the 200--475 MeV energy region as reported by the MiniBOONE experiment. [...]

Measurement of the neutrino velocity with the OPERA detector in the CNGS beam / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA neutrino experiment at the underground Gran Sasso Laboratory has measured the velocity of neutrinos from the CERN CNGS beam over a baseline of about 730 km with much higher accuracy than previous studies conducted with accelerator neutrinos. The measurement is based on high-statistics data taken by OPERA in the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. [...]

Search for $\nu_{\mu} \to \nu_{\tau}$ oscillation with the OPERA experiment in the CNGS beam / OPERA Collaboration
The OPERA neutrino experiment in the underground Gran Sasso Laboratory (LNGS) was designed to perform the first detection of neutrino oscillations in direct appearance mode in the nu_mu to nu_tau channel, the nu_tau signature being the identification of the tau-lepton created in its charged current interaction. [...]
