In response to the 2020 Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics, the Future Circular Collider (FCC) Feasibility Study was launched as an international collaboration hosted by CERN. The FCC ‘integrated programme’, described in this report, in a first stage consists of a highest-luminosity electron-positron collider, FCC-ee, serving as Higgs, top and electroweak factory, with a subsequent energy-frontier proton-proton collider, FCC-hh, as the second stage.     The FCC-ee is designed to operate at four baseline centre-of-mass energies, corresponding to the Z pole, the WW pair production threshold, the ZH production peak, and the top/anti-top production threshold, always delivering the highest possible luminosities to four experiments. Inclusive and diffractive dijet photoproduction in UPCs at the LHC in NLO QCD / Guzey, Vadim (St. Petersburg, INP ; Jyvaskyla U. ; Helsinki U.) ; Klasen, Michael (Munster U., ITP)
We present a next-to-leading order QCD calculation of inclusive dijet photoproduction in ultraperipheral Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC and show that the results agree very well with various kinematic distributions measured by the ATLAS collaboration. The effect of including these data in nCTEQ or EPPS16 nuclear parton density functions (nPDFs) is then studied using the Bayesian reweighting technique. [...]

Incoherent $ρ$ meson photoproduction in ultraperipheral nuclear collisions at the CERN Large Hadron Collider / Guzey, V. (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Kryshen, E. (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Zhalov, M. (St. Petersburg, INP)
Using the Gribov-Glauber model for photon-nucleus scattering and a generalization of the vector meson dominance model for the hadronic structure of the photon, we make predictions for the cross section of incoherent $\rho$ photoproduction in Pb-Pb ultraperipheral collisions (UPCs) in the Large Hadron Collider kinematics. We find that the effect of the inelastic nuclear shadowing is significant and leads to an additional 25% suppression of the incoherent cross section. [...]

We explain that  color fluctuations (CFs) in the light-cone photon  wave function  lead to much stronger shadowing in the coherent production both in the soft regime ($\rho$ -meson photoproduction)  and in the hard regime ($J/\psi$ photoproduction). We make CF based  predictions for the distribution over the number  of wounded nucleons $\nu$ in the inelastic photon--nucleus scattering.  We show that CFs lead to a dramatic enhancement of this distribution at $\nu=1$ and large $\nu > 10$.
