An R&D; project is presented, aimed to develop a high performance gaseous detector of single photons, for the upgrade of the Ring Imaging Cherenkov Counter RICH-1 of the COMPASS Experiment at CERN SPS. The detector has to stably operate at high gain and high rate, to provide good time resolution and insensitivity to magnetic field, and to offer the possibility to cover very large areas at affordable cost. Electroweak Measurements in Electron-Positron Collisions at W-Boson-Pair Energies at LEP / ALEPH Collaboration
Electroweak measurements performed with data taken at the electron-positron collider LEP at CERN from 1995 to 2000 are reported. The combined data set considered in this report corresponds to a total luminosity of about 3~fb$^{-1}$ collected by the four LEP experiments ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL, at centre-of-mass energies ranging from $130~GeV$ to $209~GeV$ [...]

Search for Charged Higgs bosons: Combined Results Using LEP data / ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL Collaborations
The four LEP collaborations, ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL, have searched for pair-produced charged Higgs bosons in the framework of Two Higgs Doublet Models (2HDMs). The data of the four experiments are statistically combined. [...]

Fast Photon Detection for COMPASS RICH1 / Abbon, P (DSM, DAPNIA, Saclay) ; Alekseev, M (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) ; Angerer, H (Munich, Tech. The new photon detection system for COMPASS RICH-1 has been designed to cope with the demanding requests of operation at high beam intensity and at high trigger rates. The detection technique in the central region of RICH-1 has been changed with a system based on multianode photomultipliers coupled to individual fused silica lens telescopes and to a fast, almost dead time free readout system based on the MAD-4 amplifier-discriminator and the F1 TDC-chip. The central photon detection area of the Ring Imaging Cherenkov detector at COMPASS, a particle physics experiment at CERN SPS dedicated to hadron physics, has been upgraded from the previous system formed by wire chambers with CsI layers to a very fast UV extended multi anode photo multiplier tube array (MAPMT), including 576 tubes. The active area covered by the MAPMTs is 7.3 times smaller than the one previously equipped with CsI photocathodes, so 576 optical concentrators transforming the image from the old system focal plane to the new photocathode plane were needed. D* and D Meson Production in Muon Nucleon Interactions at 160 GeV/c / COMPASS Collaboration
The production of D* and D mesons in inelastic scattering of 160 GeV/c muons off a $^6$LiD target has been investigated with the COMPASS spectrometer at CERN for 0.003 (GeV/c)$^2 < Q^2 < 10$ (GeV/c)$^2$ and 3x10$^-5< x_{Bj}$ < 0.1. The study is based on 8100 events where a $D^0$ or anti $D^0$ is detected subsequently to a $D^{*+}$ or $D^{*-}$ decay, and on 34000 events, where only a $D^0$ or anti $D^0$ is detected. [...]
