Compton imaging for enhanced sensitivity (n,γ) cross section TOF experiments: Status and prospects / n_TOF Collaboration
Radiative neutron-capture cross sections are of pivotal importance in many fields such as nucle-osynthesis studies or innovative reactor technologies. A large number of isotopes have been measured with high accuracy, but there are still a large number of relevant isotopes whose cross sections could not be experimentally determined yet, at least with sufficient accuracy and completeness, owing to limitations in detection techniques, sample production methods or in the facilities themselves. In the context of the HYMNS (High-sensitivitY Measurements of key stellar Nucleo-Synthesis reactions) project over the last six years we have developed a novel detection technique aimed at background suppression in radiative neutron-capture time-of-flight measurements. [...]

Shedding Light on the Origin of Pb204, the Heaviest s-Process–Only Isotope in the Solar System / n_TOF Collaboration
Asymptotic giant branch stars are responsible for the production of most of the heavy isotopes beyond Sr observed in the solar system. Among them, isotopes shielded from the r-process contribution by their stable isobars are defined as s-only nuclei. [...]

Charge radii of thallium isotopes near the N=126 shell closure / IDS Collaboration
The changes in the mean-squared charge radius of Tlg209 (N=128) and Tlm207 (N=126) relative to Tl205 have been measured for the first time using the in-source laser resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique with the Laser Ion Source and Trap (LIST) at ISOLDE (CERN). The application of the LIST suppresses the dominant background from isobaric francium isotopes and allows access to thallium nuclides with A⩾207. [...]

(Vienna, Tech. U., Atominst.) ; Beeks, K. (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) et al.
A comparative vacuum ultraviolet spectroscopy study conducted at ISOLDE-CERN of the radiative decay of the $^{229m}$Th nuclear clock isomer embedded in different host materials is reported. [...]

Diffusion of $^6$Li in Tantalum and Tungsten Studied by the Neutron Depth Profiling Technique / Vacik, J (Rez, Nucl. Phys. Inst.) ; Köster, U (CERN) ; Hnatowicz, V (Rez, Nucl. Phys. Inst.) ; Cervena, J (Rez, Nucl. Phys. Inst.) ; Pasold, G (Jena U.)
Diffusion of $^6$Li in the refractory metals Ta and W has been studied using thenondestructive neutron depth profiling technique. The preliminary results point out the complex behavior of $^6$Li atoms in W and Ta. [...]

Terbium-149 production: a focus on yield and quality improvement towards preclinical application / Favaretto, C (Basel U. ; PSI, Villigen) ; Grundler, P V (PSI, Villigen) ; Talip, Z (PSI, Villigen) ; Köster, U (Laue-Langevin Inst. ; CERN) ; Johnston, K (CERN) ; Busslinger, S D (PSI, Villigen) ; Sprung, P (PSI, Villigen) ; Hillhouse, C C (PSI, Villigen) ; Eichler, R (PSI, Villigen ; Bern U.) ; Schibli, R (PSI, Villigen ; Zurich, ETH) et al.
Terbium-149 (T$_{1/2}$ = 4.1 h, E$_{α}$ = 3.98 MeV (16.7%), 28 µm range in tissue) is a radionuclide with potential for targeted alpha therapy. Due to the negligible emission of α-emitting daughter nuclides, toxicity to healthy tissue may be reduced in comparison with other α-particle emitters. [...]

Production of $^{{129} \textrm{m}}$Xe and $^{{131} \textrm{m}}$Xe via neutron activation of $^{128}$Xe and $^{130}$Xe at ILL-RHF and NCBJ-MARIA high-flux reactors / Chojnacki, M (CERN ; Geneva U.) ; Kulesz, K (CERN ; Geneva U.) ; Michelon, I (CERN ; INFN, Padua) ; Azaryan, N (CERN ; Mickiewicz U., Poznan) ; Barbero, E (CERN) ; Crepieux, B (CERN) ; Lica, R (CERN ; Bucharest, IFIN-HH) ; Murawski, Ł (NCBJ, Swierk) ; Ziemba, M (NCBJ, Swierk) ; Piersa-Siłkowska, M (CERN) et al.
The long-lived xenon isomers $^{{129} \textrm{m}}$Xe and $^{{131} \textrm{m}}$Xe are of interest for the GAMMA-MRI project, which aims at developing a novel imaging modality based on magnetic resonance of polarized unstable tracers. Here, we present the steps leading to and following the production of these two isomers via neutron irradiation of highly-enriched  $^{128}$Xe and $^{130}$Xe gas samples at two high-flux reactors, the High-Flux Reactor (Réacteur à haut flux, RHF) at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) and the MARIA reactor at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ).
