The second data release from the European Pulsar Timing Array - IV. Implications for massive black holes, dark matter, and the early Universe / EPTA Collaboration
The European Pulsar Timing Array (EPTA) and Indian Pulsar Timing Array (InPTA) collaborations have measured a low-frequency common signal in the combination of their second and first data releases respectively, with the correlation properties of a gravitational wave background (GWB). Such signal may have its origin in a number of physical processes including a cosmic population of inspiralling supermassive black hole binaries (SMBHBs); inflation, phase transitions, cosmic strings and tensor mode generation by non-linear evolution of scalar perturbations in the early Universe; oscillations of the Galactic potential in the presence of ultra-light dark matter (ULDM). Mixed QCD-electroweak corrections to Higgs plus jet production at the LHC / Bonetti, Marco (speaker) (RWTH University)
The detailed study of the Higgs boson is one of the main tasks of contemporary particle physics. Gluon fusion, the main production channel of Higgs bosons at the LHC, has been successfully modelled in QCD up to $\text{N}^3\text{LO}$. [...]

The International Pulsar Timing Array second data release: Search for an isotropic Gravitational Wave Background / Antoniadis, J. We searched for an isotropic stochastic gravitational wave background in the second data release of the International Pulsar Timing Array, a global collaboration synthesizing decadal-length pulsar-timing campaigns in North America, Europe, and Australia. In our reference search for a power law strain spectrum of the form $h_c = A(f/1\,\mathrm{yr}^{-1})^{\alpha}$, we found strong evidence for a spectrally-similar low-frequency stochastic process of amplitude $A = 3.8^{+6.3}_{-2.5}\times10^{-15}$ and spectral index $\alpha = -0.5 \pm 0.5$, where the uncertainties represent 95% credible regions, using information from the auto- and cross-correlation terms between the pulsars in the array. We propose a space-based interferometer surveying the gravitational wave (GW) sky in the milli-Hz to $\mu$-Hz frequency range. By the 2040s', the $\mu$-Hz frequency band, bracketed in between the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) and pulsar timing arrays, will constitute the largest gap in the coverage of the astrophysically relevant GW spectrum. Higher order corrections to mixed QCD-EW contributions to Higgs production in gluon fusion / Bonetti, Marco (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Melnikov, Kirill (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Tancredi, Lorenzo (CERN)
We present an estimate of the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to mixed QCD-electroweak contribution to Higgs boson production cross section in gluon fusion, combining the recently computed three-loop virtual corrections and the approximate treatment of real emission in the soft approximation. We find that the NLO QCD corrections to mixed QCD-electroweak contributions are nearly identical to NLO QCD corrections to QCD Higgs production. [...]

Three-loop mixed QCD-electroweak corrections to Higgs gluon fusion / Bonetti, Marco (Karlsruhe U., TTP) ; Melnikov, Kirill (Karlsruhe U., TTP) ; Tancredi, Lorenzo (CERN)
We compute the contribution of three-loop mixed QCD-electroweak corrections ($\alpha_S^2\alpha^2$) to the $gg \to H$ scattering amplitude. We employ the method of differential equations to compute the relevant integrals and express them in terms of Goncharov polylogarithms..
