RaDoM2: an improved radon dosimeter / Romano, S (CERN ; Barcelona, Polytechnic U.) ; Caresana, M (Milan, Polytech.) ; Curioni, A (CERN) ; Silari, M (CERN)
A new dosimeter for radon progeny called RaDoM (Radon Dose Monitor) was recently developed at CERN . RaDoM is an active detector able to directly estimate the effective dose due to the radon progeny. [...]

RaDoM: a lung dosimeter for radon progeny / Romano, S ; Caresana, M ; Garlati, L ; Murtas, F ; Silari, M (CERN)
This paper discusses a novel Timepix-based on-line radon dose monitor called RaDoM. The detector provides a direct estimate of the effective dose to the lung via a system of filters having the same absorption characteristics as this organ and a measurement of the PAEC (the potential alpha energy concentration). This article documents the characteristics of the high voltage (HV) system of the hadronic calorimeter TileCal of the ATLAS experiment. Such a system is suitable to supply reliable power distribution into particles physics detectors using a large number of PhotoMultiplier Tubes (PMTs). [...]

Measurement of dijet azimuthal decorrelations in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV with the ATLAS detector and determination of the strong coupling / ATLAS Collaboration
A measurement of the rapidity and transverse momentum dependence of dijet azimuthal decorrelations is presented, using the quantity $R_{\Delta \phi}$. The quantity $R_{\Delta \phi}$ specifies the fraction of the inclusive dijet events in which the azimuthal opening angle of the two jets with the highest transverse momenta is less than a given value of the parameter $\Delta \phi_\mathrm{max}$. Angular analysis of $B^0_d \to K^{*}\mu^+\mu^-$ decays in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}= 8$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
An angular analysis of the decay $B^0_d \rightarrow K^{*}\mu^+\mu^-$ is presented, based on proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. The study is using 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity collected during 2012 at centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV. [...]

Measurement of colour flow using jet-pull observables in $t\bar{t}$ events with the ATLAS experiment at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV / ATLAS Collaboration
Previous phenomenological studies and measurements have shown that weighted angular moments derived from jet constituents encode the colour connections between initiating partons that seed the jets. This paper presents measurements of two such distributions, the jet-pull angle and jet-pull magnitude, both of which are derived from the jet-pull angular moment. [...]

Search for R-parity-violating supersymmetric particles in multi-jet final states produced in $p$-$p$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} =13$ TeV using the ATLAS detector at the LHC / ATLAS Collaboration
Results of a search for gluino pair production with subsequent R-parity-violating decays to quarks are presented. This search uses 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected by the ATLAS detector in proton-proton collisions with a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV at the LHC. [...]

Search for supersymmetry in events with four or more leptons in $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV $pp$ collisions with ATLAS / ATLAS Collaboration
Results from a search for supersymmetry in events with four or more charged leptons (electrons, muons and taus) are presented. The analysis uses a data sample corresponding to 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions delivered by the Large Hadron Collider at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV and recorded by the ATLAS detector. [...]

Search for Higgs boson decays into pairs of light (pseudo)scalar particles in the $\gamma\gamma jj$ final state in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This Letter presents a search for exotic decays of the Higgs boson to a pair of new (pseudo)scalar particles, $H\to aa$, where the $a$ particle has a mass in the range 20-60 GeV, and where one of the $a$ bosons decays into a pair of photons and the other to a pair of gluons. The search is performed in event samples enhanced in vector-boson fusion Higgs boson production by requiring two jets with large invariant mass in addition to the Higgs boson candidate decay products.
