What the Fermilab muon $g-$2 experiment tells us about discovering supersymmetry at high luminosity and high energy upgrades to the LHC / Aboubrahim, Amin (Munster U., ITP) ; Klasen, Michael (Munster U., ITP) ; Nath, Pran (Northeastern U.)
Using an artificial neutral network we explore the parameter space of supergravity grand unified models consistent with the combined Fermilab E989 and Brookhaven E821 data on $(g-2)_\mu$. The analysis indicates that the region favored by the data is the one generated by gluino-driven radiative breaking of the electroweak symmetry. [...]

Supersymmetry unification, naturalness, and discovery prospects at HL-LHC and HE-LHC / Nath, Pran (Northeastern U.)
An overview of recent developments in supersymmetry, supergravity and unification and prospects for supersymmetry discovery at the current and future high energy colliders and elsewhere are discussed. Currently several empirical data point to supersymmetry as an underlying symmetry of particle physics. [...]

This is the third out of five chapters of the final report [1] of the Workshop on Physics at HL-LHC, and perspectives on HE-LHC [2]. It is devoted to the study of the potential, in the search for Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) physics, of the High Luminosity (HL) phase of the LHC, defined as $3$ ab$^{-1}$ of data taken at a centre-of-mass energy of 14 TeV, and of a possible future upgrade, the High Energy (HE) LHC, defined as $15$ ab$^{-1}$ of data at a centre-of-mass energy of 27 TeV. R-parity Conservation via the Stueckelberg Mechanism: LHC and Dark Matter Signals / Feldman, Daniel (Michigan U., MCTP ; CERN) ; Fileviez Perez, Pavel (New York U., CCPP ; New York U.) ; Nath, Pran (Northeastern U.)
We investigate the connection between the conservation of R-parity in supersymmetry and the Stueckelberg mechanism for the mass generation of the B-L vector gauge boson. It is shown that with universal boundary conditions for soft terms of sfermions in each family at the high scale and with the Stueckelberg mechanism for generating mass for the B-L gauge boson present in the theory, electric charge conservation guarantees the conservation of R-parity in the minimal B-L extended supersymmetric standard model. Interpreting the First CMS and ATLAS SUSY Results / Akula, Sujeet ; Chen, Ning ; Feldman, Daniel ; Liu, Mengxi ; Liu, Zuowei ; Nath, Pran ; Peim, Gregory
The CMS and the ATLAS Collaborations have recently reported on the search for supersymmetry with 35 pb$^{-1}$ of data and have put independent limits on the parameter space of the supergravity unified model with universal boundary conditions at the GUT scale for soft breaking, i.e., the mSUGRA model. The Hunt for New Physics at the Large Hadron Collider / Nath, Pran (Northeastern U.) ; Nelson, Brent D. Advanced Study) ; Mohapatra, Rabi (Maryland U.) ; Valle, Jose (Valencia U., IFIC) et al.
The Large Hadron Collider presents an unprecedented opportunity to probe the realm of new physics in the TeV region and shed light on some of the core unresolved issues of particle physics. These include the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking, the origin of mass, the possible constituent of cold dark matter, new sources of CP violation needed to explain the baryon excess in the universe, the possible existence of extra gauge groups and extra matter, and importantly the path Nature chooses to resolve the hierarchy problem - is it supersymmetry or extra dimensions.
