CGC/Saturation Approach: Soft Interaction at the LHC Energies
/ Gotsman, E (Tel Aviv U.) ; Levin, E (Tel Aviv U. ; U. Campinas)
This lecture is prepared for the LISHEP2018 school (September 9–14, Salvador, BA, Brasil). It is our first attempt to give a review of our model for soft interaction at high energy. [...]

Baryon Anomaly in Heavy-Ion Collisions and Colour Correlations in QGP
/ Levin, Eugene M (Tel Aviv U. ; Santa Maria U., Valparaiso) ; Matulewicz, Gustaw (CERN) ; Ryskin, Mikhail G (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Safarik, Karel (CERN)
A baryon anomaly – an increased baryon-to-meson production ratio at intermediate pT in heavyion collisions when compared to pp collisions – is observed at RHIC and the LHC. This effect is usually explained by recombination of constituent quarks during QGP hadronization, or as a consequence of a strong radial flow developed during the heavy-ion collision. [...]

This White Paper presents the science case of an Electron-Ion Collider (EIC), focused on the structure and interactions of gluon-dominated matter, with the intent to articulate it to the broader nuclear science community. It was commissioned by the managements of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) and Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab) with the objective of presenting a summary of scientific opportunities and goals of the EIC as a follow-up to the 2007 NSAC Long Range plan. Survival probability of large rapidity gaps
/ Gotsman, E ; Levin, E ; Maor, U ; Naftali, E ; Prygarin, A
Our presentation centers on the consequences of s-channel unitarity, manifested by soft re-scatterings of the spectator partons in a high energy diffractive process, focusing on the calculations of gap survival probabilities. Our emphasis is on recent estimates relevant to exclusive diffractive Higgs production at the LHC. [...]
